Early yesterday morning around 1 am, Mr.Poonsuk Tapangphan; District Chief Officer together with Sakonakorn local police and Boarder Police team 23 raided a slaughterhouse located in the area of Baan NongGraBok, Phonenakaew District , Sakonnakorn province. Police found 50 dead dogs ready to be processed and around 50 live dogs which captured in the metal cages. The butchers fled the area leaving behind 2 motorbikes and 1 pick up truck.

MEET OUR TROUBLE & STRIFE....

Our little “Trouble & Strife” were just 3 months old and had been dumped by the side of a busy main road running the very real risk of getting run over.
Thankfully Gill spotted them, and without a second thought she stopped the car, picked them both up and took them straight to the Shelter where they have been ever since.

Who Could Abandon Sweet Little "Petti Poi"...

WHO COULD ABANDON SUCH A SWEET LITTLE GIRL!...
This very sweet, tiny girl was dumped on the street by her owner along with her mother. When we found her she had malnutrition & was an extremely sad & sick little girl. She's only been here for 6 weeks but we'd really like to find her a loving home.
Petti Poi is approx 1 year old, playful & very cute. She's a little bit shy but with lots of loving care, she'd make a wonderful pet. She's very small & would be ideal for apartment living.

Chanom is a real sweet little girl who came to our shelter about a year ago, and is now about 16 months old.
She was living on the streets and a kind person was trying to feed her and look after her, but she started to go downhill and was getting depressed and stopped eating so she was brought to us. She was covered in ticks, had a cough and was very skinny.

YOU HELPED SAVE DOGS LIKE MOLEL, THANK YOU!...
It's hard to believe from this photo but MOLEL is only 4 months of age & she's had a very bad start in life.
MOLEL arrived at the Soi Dog shelter on 29 August, brought in by foreigner "Fay" who found this little dog in Pha Klok Road in Phuket. Molel had been hit by car & had severe skin problems.

DEAR LITTLE COLLIE - HE NEEDS A HOME IN THAILAND

Collie is a very special boy who has lived at our shelter most of his life, after his owners dumped him in the road 2 years ago. Collie suffers from epilepsy which is controlled by medication. He also has virtually no teeth due to distemper in his puppy years so he's very vulnerable & therefore keeps his distance from other dogs. Email cindy@soidog.org for more info re Collie.
