Last week, Soi Dog Foundation welcomed some special guests to our facilities, a team from Greater Good (www.greatergood.org). After arriving in Bangkok, their first trip was to Buriram to visit the dogs rescued from the dog meat trade. Greater Good fundraise for these dogs and have funded two shelters at Buriram, each having the capacity to hold up to 500 dogs. Pirate Really Needs To Find His Place

We really would love to find Pirate his forever home as a life at the Shelter is really not for him.
Pirate is finding it very hard to settle, and does not seem to like being with the other dogs, so we would love to find him a special home where he can spend his days as an only pet.
He loves human company and to be showered with attention and after his bad start in life it would be great to see him in a home where he can be loved.

Sun Bright Would Dearly Love A Home

This handsome boy has been with us at the Shelter for the last 18 months after he was dumped at a local clinic when he just a pup of 4 months old.
He is nearly 2 years old now and is full of life, love and energy, and his favourite pastime is going for walks with the volunteers. He has plenty of friends in his run, but this lovely boy really loves human company, and this is why we are so keen to find him a loving home.

It was another early start again today for the staff and for 2 more lucky dogs who are heading off to wonderful new lives together in the USA with their new Mum Leslie.
It was a Black & White theme as Lilain and Surin Rock said their goodbyes to their friends, staff and carers before heading to the airport with Mark & Chris.

Komarn is such a super sweet and gentle 2 ½ year old girl who is looking to find her place in a loving home.
She arrived at our shelter when she was just a 1 month old pup after a kind lady had found her and suspected she had been hit by a car and took her to a local vet for treatment.
We took her in to our care where she got the medical treatment she needed and she has made a good recovery.
