Hero along with some other dogs have been moved to larger individual kennels following detection of a case of distemper in the clinic. These dogs are as yet unprotected and very vulnerable to catching what is generally a fatal disease. He has stopped coughing and is much stronger. The Magnificent 6 Heading Off

Another one of our early starts today, as we said farewell to 6 more lucky dogs who are heading of to the UK with flight volunteers Michelle & Brian.
All 6 dogs have been waiting patiently for their time to come. There are 6 anxious and excited adopters awaiting their arrival in the UK.

Many thanks to Allamanda Phuket Resort for rescuing and rehoming this young pup...
This puppy arrived at the resort alone and frightened earlier this week. The General Manager and staff immediately took a liking to the young pup and the happy ending is that a staff member has adopted the pup.

TEARS AS CRISTY SAYS GOODBYE…
5:00 AM at Thailand’s Phuket Airport, same characters but a bit different situation. In the first photo Cristy clung to Gill in fear when she arrived at Soi Dog, very near death. For weeks we did not know if she would survive.
Today Gill bid a bittersweet farewell to Cristy as saw her off at the start of her journey to the UK with flight volunteers Brian and Michelle and 5 other lucky dogs.

Morris Is Moving On

Today it was the turn of Morris to say his goodbyes to the Soi Dog shelter staff as he heads off on his journey to his new home in Canada.
Always sweet natured and with a smile for everyone, it is amazing to think that he is only 1 year old and has lived his whole life here with us.
As always we were so sad to see this lovely boy go, but we know deep in our hearts that his journey is just begining.

This cute little girl was brought in by a Thai lady who found her in front of the Super Cheap store unable to walk. X rays not clear and because so young difficult to diagnose at present but probably broken pelvis or dislocated hip. Only a few weeks old she has gone to join Seattle and Tucson for some TLC at our puppy carers house.

Could you give Chanom the chance she needs and give her a loving home?
She was living on her own on the streets and a kind person was trying to feed and look after her, but she started to go downhill and was getting depressed and stopped eating so she was brought to us. She was covered in ticks, had a cough and was very skinny. We have looked after her ever since, and she is now doing much better, but we would love to find a home for her where she can feel safe and loved.
