MOBILE STERILISATION CLINIC HELD IN NAKHON SAWAN PROVINCE
24th Jan 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Soi Dog Foundation is increasingly being asked to help local people who care for dogs, often in remote areas of Thailand. This month we organised a clinic in Nakhon Sawan province, a few hours north of Bangkok. Soi Dog Foundations's Khun Toom led the clinic which included a former Soi Dog vet Dr Tae, who has his own clinic in Northern Thailand, and Dr Lek from Bangkok, as well as two contracted dog catchers also from Bangkok. Local students also helped in catching dogs. The clinic was also suppo...

THE WORK NEVER ENDS FOR FOSTER CARER KHUN MIA
23rd Jan 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

The work day started with a surprise at the end of the Soi Dog Foundation driveway with seven puppies discovered dumped on the side of the road. These puppies are only seven weeks old and have been named Daffodil, Dahlia, Damien, Delphine, Desert Rose, Darius and Darwin. As these puppies have not yet been vaccinated and are so young, the best place for them is with Khun Mia, the puppy and kitten foster carer. Most of the puppies are also suffering from skin problems, so Khun Mia will have her ha...

She had a sore hind leg, but is now fully recovered and has turned into a beautiful young girl who is growing rapidly. Holly is an extremely friendly dog who gets on with everybody, and all the other dogs in our puppy run. “Holly” is at our shelter in Phuket, Thailand and can easily be adopted locally or to the USA, Canada, UK and other destinations in Europe. If you coul...

ANDREW IS ON THE MEND AFTER HIS FIGHT OVER A FEMALE IN HEAT
23rd Jan 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Hi, it’s Andrew here. In case you haven’t heard of me, you can read my story at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.64314326 5727412.1073742505.108625789179165&type=3 I got myself into a bit of trouble recently while trying to impress a very attractive lady dog. It turns out that I wasn’t the only man interested in impressing her and because both myself and the other dog were intent on being the one to be able to spend some quality time with her, a fight broke out. HELP SPECIAL NEEDS DOGS BY SPONSORING RAYMOND TODAY
23rd Jan 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Raymond came to the shelter from a resort in the tourist area of Patong with a big wound on his head that was covered in maggots. Although Raymond is estimated to only be around four years of age, it is most likely also completely blind although there may very small level of sight left. Raymond will now live at the shelter as he would be incapable of looking after himself on the streets. Only you can help save dogs like Raymond and give them a chance of recovery and quality of life. To help Ra...
