4th Feb 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Soi Dog Foundation received a call late last week about a dog who had a suspected gunshot wound. Animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon rushed to this dog’s aid and brought him straight back to the shelter where Dr Su performed an immediate assessment of Totoro’s condition. Crinkle was just 2 months old when she was dumped outside the Swedish Foundation here in Phuket. Thankfully they spotted her and brought her to us as she was not going to be able to survive on her own. She has now been with us for almost exactly 2 years, and we would love to find her a wonderful caring home. She is a little shy girl that likes to hide under the sala, but when you call her to go for a walk her face lights up and she comes to life. Crinkle is at our shelter in Phuket, Thailand a...

Natalie’s Luck Improves After Being Dumped At Local School
3rd Feb 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Natalie was found by long time Soi Dog Supporter Lillian, on the grounds of a school in the south of Phuket. We believe Natalie was dumped as she was struggling to take care of herself. Without the street smarts that most street dogs in Thailand possess, we are unsure if Natalie would have survived and she will now call the Soi Dog shelter her home until a family can be found for her. Curiously, Natalie is missing part of her left hind leg and we have no idea what has happened to her. This may...

Soi Dog Foundation - Fund Raise For Soi Dog
3rd Feb 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Want to help fundraise for the rescue of dogs and cats in Thailand? Soi Dog often receives messages from supporters asking how they can help. One of the most effective ways people can help the neglected and abused animals in Soi Dog's care is through peer to peer fund raising. As such Soi Dog has set up a profile on Razoo whereby you can set up your own fund raising page and through it encourage your friends, family, colleagues etc. to support your fund raising effort.
