Happy ending for Sparky!
Sparky, the two year old Shih Tzu, came to the shelter in November after being found abandoned at a local school. Poor Sparky had an incurable eye disease which required him to have his eye removed. After recovering at Soi Dog Foundation, Sparky was recently adopted locally and we are thrilled for him.
We have many more loving and beautiful dogs at the shelter who are looking for a home. Dogs can be adopted locally and overseas to the US, UK, Europe and Canada. For mor...

“Football” is the sweetest little girl who amazingly has now been with us for 4 long years!
She came to us when she was only 2 months old, having been found dumped in a storm drain with her siblings in the resort of Patong. Sadly this is quite common, but luckily for this small group they were spotted and saved.
She loves to go for her walks and her face just lights up into the biggest smile when she sees the volunteers heading her way.

Dorothy was found outside a supermarket after being hit by a car and suffering nerve damage. She was also malnourished and suffering from blood parasites and it is evident that Dorothy once suffered from distemper as she now has a permanent shake.
Dorothy has been at shelter for two years and is approx. 4 years old. Dorothy is the boss of her run and loves visits from volunteers (and nibbling on their legs), being brushed and going for walks.

Makham had a very lucky escape indeed.
One of our shelter staff was out one day and saw some people with knives chasing a dog saying they were going to poison it.
Thankfully our staff member stepped in and rescued Makham from a horrible fate, and brought her back to our shelter.
She has now been with us for almost 1 year, and we would love her to know that there could be a loving home for her out there.
She is almost 5yrs old, and is a bit shy to start so will need someone who has the time...
