Old Dog Shizui Comes To The Clinic For Treatment Of Swollen Leg

Shizui is an old dog at approximately 14 years of age. She was picked up in Chalong in the south of Phuket recently by animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon. On examination by Dr Sai she was found to have a swollen right thigh due to a build-up of fluid under the skin.
X-rays on Shizui’s leg have shown no bone damage however a growth has been found in one of her mammary glands that may be responsible for this swelling. The fluid build-up from Shizui’s thigh has been removed which will hopefull...

Four years ago Lucy was found in the Laguna area of Phuket. A German man found her on the street and brought her to the Soi Dog shelter. She was just a few months old and absolutely terrified! Lucy has been frightened of people her entire life, but we don't know why. Probably as a result of terrible trauma/abuse when she was very young, something she's sadly never forgotten.

Sleeky is settling into her new home in the US
Sleeky, a beautiful 5 year old dog, had been at the shelter for 2 years after it was reported that someone was trying to kill her.
Sleeky has now gone to her new life in the US to live with adopter Linda Fronzoli.
As you can see from the photos, Sleeky is having no problems fitting into her new home. Thank you Linda for providing Sleeky with a wonderful, loving home.
Soi Dog has many other dogs and cats at the shelter looking for loving homes...

Help is urgently needed from supporters in HOLLAND!
Soi Dog desperately needs someone with a big van who can pick up 2 flight volunteers and 6 dogs (in crates) from Shiphol airport on April 3rd and to bring them to Hook of Holland the next day April 4th.
Alternatively, two volunteers with large cars would be very much appreciated.

Philemon was found recently at a local market with a wound on his front left leg and it was also suspected to be broken. It is likely that he has been hit by a car at some stage. The vets have examined him and believe his broken leg may be an old injury due his nails being overgrown on that foot and the wastage of his muscles in his left shoulder.
Upon examination by the Soi Dog vets, Philemon was found to have no feeling in his leg and no hope of recovery, so the only choice will now be to amp...
