Dog Comes In With Eye Problem, Many Other Health Problems Found 21st Mar 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Poor Safari Sam came to the Soi Dog clinic from the mobile clinic with a problem with his eye. Upon examination by Dr Eed, it was determined that his eye problem is a result of him having canine transmissible venereal tumour (TVT), a type of cancer easily spread between dogs. This condition is more commonly seen in tropical climates with a high street dog population, just like Phuket. Dogs suffering this condition may also have urinary tract problems, nosebleeds and other nasal discharge, facial...

Hi, my name is Tiny. If you don’t know my story you can read it at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.63601837 6439901.1073742469.108625789179165&type=3
I was saved in Krabi by two tourists who saw some horrible men throwing stones at me. I was so scared, but thankfully they came to my rescue. After the vets checked out my health I moved into the puppy run. It was heaps of fun in there, but I kept growing and more little puppies kept coming in, so it was time for me to move to the big ...

Updates On 20th Mar 2014 20th Mar 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Hi I'm Puddleby, please adopt me!
I arrived at the Soi Dog Foundation in September 2012 having been found shivering with cold, very hungry and wet after being dumped in a gully at a local Temple with 3 of my siblings.
We were all around 4 weeks of age and would not have survived much longer on our own.
I am now 19 months old, and have grown into a stunning girl. I am so affectionate and loving, but can still be a little shy but once you gain my trust I am all yours.
I am at the Soi Dog sh...

Soi Dog Foundation - Sponsor A Dog Today 20th Mar 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Justice came to the shelter after John received a phone call on Saturday afternoon that a puppy had been abandoned at Sarasin Bridge, the bridge connecting Phuket to the mainland. This area is a common dumping ground for unwanted dogs and puppies. Justice was the third dog within a week to be picked up there. Justice was shaking with fear and cowering against the bridge wall as trucks and cars thundered past and was fortunate not to have already been hit by one as this is the main highway off Ph...
