Unwanted Pups, Topsy And Turvey, Now Safe At Soi Dog

Two puppies, Topsy and Turvey, were recently brought to the clinic from a local school by animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon. The story of these two little ones is a bit confusing as Khun Jaroon has been given a few different versions from locals. He was first told that one of the puppies was hit by a car, however vets can find nothing wrong with either of them. Another person has told Khun Jaroon that the puppies were dumped at the school and no one is looking after them.

Thank you to graffiti artist Tom Deams who after visiting the shelter, created a series of prints depicting street dogs. Tom’s work has proved popular and he has so far raised £1000 (1700 USD) to help the dogs and cats of Thailand.

Little Paramour was picked up by the shelter manager after it was reported she had been found on her own, with a wound on her face and on her paw. How she got these wounds, nobody knows, but as she is only young, her chances of survival were slim and without vet treatment, she may have succumbed to a serious infection.

Bellay recently came to the shelter after animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon found her with an awful leg wound at a local hotel in one of the tourist areas of Phuket. The vets have no idea how she ended up with such a terrible wound, but thankfully because she came to the clinic in the nick of time, it has not become seriously infected.
Bellay is now being treated with antibiotics to prevent any serious infection developing and her wound is being cleaned daily. She is also on pain killers and a...

I'm a male, medium sized dog and I'm 1 year old.
Hello! I am a true “Soi Dog.” I was born when my mum was picked up from the streets and brought to Soi Dog’s mobile sterilization clinic to be spayed. Because I was just a tiny little peanut and would have struggled to live on the streets, I was reared by hand at Soi Dog’s shelter and fed from a bottle, night and day, until I was big enough to eat dog food.
