Dog Found At Local Shop Comes To Clinic With Massive Tumour

Pongo recently came to the shelter after being found by animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon outside a local shop. Pongo has a massive tumour on his stomach although he has a carer, Khun Jaroon could tell he needed urgent veterinary care.
Vets have decided that the only option for Pongo is surgery to remove the tumour followed by a course of chemotherapy. Due to the size of the tumour, this treatment is not guaranteed to be a success, however the vets will do all they can to make Pongo well again...

Phuket’s roads can be a dangerous place for the street dog population on the island. Another dog recently came to the clinic after becoming the victim of a road accident. Ting is only six months old and was recently hit on the main highway that runs down the middle of Phuket.
When Ting arrived at the clinic, she had a swollen back leg and was unable to put any weight on it. X-rays were performed and it was found that Ting was suffering from fractures near her hip and in her upper leg.

Artie Comes To The Clinic With An Awful Skin Condition

Artie was brought to the clinic last week by animal rescue officer Khun Jaroon. Khun Jaroon found Artie at a local temple and knew right away from the state of Artie’s skin that he desperately needed to come to see the Soi Dog vets.
