Soi Dog picks up many young puppies every week, Most have been abandoned on roadsides or dumped and left to die. Unfortunately only the lucky ones are found and given a second chance. Soi Dog Canada is very happy to announce that their recent Weight Loss Fundraiser Event raised $2271.00 for Soi Dog, surpassing their goal of $2000.00!

Rinko came to Soi Dog after a staff member’s friend spotted her at a beachside bar. This lovely little girl of approximately two years of age was having terrible problems with her back paws. Both paws had wounds, which meant Rinko couldn’t stand or walk properly and was no doubt in a lot of pain.
Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon collected Rinko and brought her to the shelter. The vets examined her back paws and immediately cleaned her wounds and started her on a course of medication. They ...

Shakey Joy was dumped over the fence of the clinic in 2005 and has lived at the shelter ever since. She has obvious signs of having suffered from distemper at some point which has left her with a permanent shake.
Shakey Joy is now getting on a bit and lives in the Old Age Run where she spends a lot of her time sleeping on the sala overlooking the lake and loves going for walks and having cuddles with volunteers.

I'm a medium sized boy and I'm about 1 and 1/2 years old.
I was found after having hot oil thrown over me in the street, which caused severe burns to my side and ear. I also had dog bite marks and an infection around my neck - so was very ill by the time I was rescued by the kind Soi Dog rescue staff.

Kangaroo came to the shelter 6 years ago after having his eye taken out by children using a catapult. Having one eye does not hold Kangaroo back as he loves going for walks, playing with the other dogs and cuddling with volunteers.
