Abandoned On An Uninhabited Island, Starving Bon Is Rescued 4th May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Abandoned on an uninhabited island, starving Bon is rescued
Imagine one day, you are playing around your home and you are suddenly picked up, put in a boat and taken to an uninhabited island with only snakes and other reptiles available as food. No people, no dogs. Imagine your panic as you see the boat disappearing into the distance.
This is what we suspect happened to Bon. Bon would have slowly starved to death were it not for kind-hearted expat Sam. Sam fancied a quiet afternoon away from P...

Soi Dog Foundation - Sponsor A Dog Today 4th May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Dorothy was found outside a supermarket after being hit by a car and suffering nerve damage. She was also malnourished and suffering from blood parasites and it is evident that Dorothy once suffered from distemper as she now has a permanent shake.
Dorothy has been at the shelter for two years and is approximately 4 years old. Dorothy is the boss of her run and loves visits from volunteers (and nibbling on their legs), being brushed, and going for walks.
You can help us look after Dorothy by ...

Nash The Survivor: One Lucky Boy’s Story 3rd May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
My name is Nash and my suffering is over thanks to Soi Dog. You might remember me but if not, you can read my original story here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.69377871 7330533.1073742822.108625789179165&type=1
I came to the shelter from a mobile clinic in Phuket town. I had a large, open wound on the back of my neck, probably caused by a bite from another dog. I was in a huge amount of pain because the wound had got badly infected. The vets at Soi Dog examined me and they cleaned ...

Meet Celina, a brave young girl of just 3 years of age, who is currently fighting for her life. Celina came to Soi Dog with TVT tumours on her bottom. TVT is a form of cancer easily spread between dogs and is sadly very common among street dogs in a tropical climate such as we have here in Thailand.
On arrival at the shelter, Celina was examined by our vets. In addition to TVT tumours, the vets diagnosed kidney failure, blood parasites and anaemia. Celina was started on medication and given f...
