I Am Sophie Lek. PLEASE ADOPT ME. 13th May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
I am a medium-sized girl and about 3½ years old. After you have read my story, I hope you will want to take me into your home. If you do, please email cristy@soidog.org
I came to Soi Dog as a young baby, with my Mum, who has already been adopted. We had been street dogs living in an area where we weren’t wanted, so the people used to hit and kick us to make us go away.
I am a very shy girl and I like to take my time when it comes to trusting people. I do get on well with other dogs, as long...

Beautiful Bamboo Saved From Horrific Cruelty 12th May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
This is Bamboo, a 2 year old boy who arrived at our shelter three days ago. Bamboo was brought here because of an email we received from a very distressed tourist. Rather than write up a Facebook post on the story of Bamboo, we felt the email conveys better than we ever could, the full horror of this boy's ordeal, and so we would like to share it with you:
“Hello, now I'm with my family vacationing in Phuket ***** beach resort . Hear live a dog. He was very friendly, our kids play with him. ...

My Name Is Pokpak - PLEASE ADOPT ME. 12th May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
I'm a medium sized boy, about 3 years old. I was found behind a garage in Phuket, Thailand, with a horrible skin condition. I was brought to the kind people at Soi Dog who have slowly nursed me back to health.
I’ve now been at the shelter for about 1½ years and am finding life quite difficult. I am living in a run with 15 other dogs and really wish I had my own forever home with owners who would love me as much I as would love them.
I have been going for regular walks with the volunteers. I...

Hi Chicago Soi Dog supporters! We have a flight volunteer coming your way arriving on the 5th of July.
The airline only allows dogs with a total weight of up to 32 kilos so why not consider a dog like Shakey who has lived at Soi Dog for over 9 years! She is an older dog just gone 11 years who was named Shakey as she suffered from distemper early on in her life.
Approximate costs for getting Shakey to Chicago are only $450 USD. If you are able to give Shakey a loving home where she can live o...

To The Magic 1000 Club: Thank You From The Dogs Of Buriram 12th May 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
We recently updated you on the dogs rescued from the dog meat trade that have been transferred from Government livestock shelters to purpose-built facilities at Buriram. We were only able to construct these facilities with the donations of the Magic 1000 Club and we now have 6 large shelters thanks to your support.
When building a city however, we need more than houses. We are working continuously on infrastructure such as roads, drainage, medication and water supply and filtration. We are also...
