I'm a medium sized girl and I am almost two years old.
I live at the Soi Dog shelter ever since I turned up here alone one day and demanded to stay. It was a Monday.
I am the cuddliest, huggable dog. I love people and affection and I look forward to welcoming all the volunteers into my run. I am very good on the lead and am getting much better with our resident ducks which I am very interested in.

Soi Dog treats and sterilizes over 1,000 dogs and cats each month. Many of these dogs and cats require lifesaving, emergency treatment.

Help A Dog Like Varee Today

My name is Varee. I am a young, one year old girl who was brought to Soi Dog with a badly misshapen front leg. I was dragging the leg on the ground, completely unable to walk properly and in a lot of pain. When the vets took a look at my leg, they could see that I had a serious bone tumour. This had caused my leg to grow in such a deformed way I was no longer able to use it. It was already too late to save my leg and so the vets had no choice but to remove it.

People often write to us, frustrated that they cannot take direct action to end the illegal dog meat trade. WELL, NOW YOU CAN.
Soi Dog has erected over 1,000 posters targeting dog traffickers, and raising public awareness of the trade. The posters offer rewards to local people who can provide tip-offs that lead to the arrest of dog snatchers. Every now and again, a surprise gesture of kindness warms our hearts. Soi Dog Foundation had a visit the other day from a local Thai family. It was their second visit to our shelter and this time they came laden with food for all the dogs and cats in our care. Not only that, they threw in some lovely snacks for the humans too!
