My name is LAITTE - PLEASE ADOPT ME!
Email deb@soidog.org for all adoption enquiries.
My name is Laitte and I'm 8 years old. I came to the shelter 7 years ago - it was so long ago nobody really knows why I came here.
I also don't know why I've been at the shelter for so long, as everyone who meets me says that I'm a really sweet girl.
Even though I'm 8 years old I have lots of energy. When the volunteer takes me for a walk we often have a little run, but first they give me time to sniff ...

WANT TO DONATE TO SAVE ANOTHER STREET PUP? PLEASE CLICK HERE 20th Jun 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
My name is Jomel. I am a 4 month old boy and I have suffered a lot in my short little life. I would like you to read my story in the hope that you can help other pups like me.
I was brought to a Soi Dog mobile clinic in a very bad way. I had something the vets called sarcoptic mange. My fur, once beautiful and puppy-soft, had gone crusty and even fallen out in places. The itching was so horrible; I scratched non-stop but it never went away. My constant scratching made things even worse but I wa...

CAN YOU SPONSOR A SOI DOG? PLEASE CLICK HERE 20th Jun 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
See-Nin (aka “Batman”) arrived at the shelter in a sorry state from a nearby temple. He was suffering with muscle atrophy to his back legs, a broken hip and a spinal injury.
It has been a long road with See-Nin to get him to trust people and get along with other dogs, but he is now an energetic boy who loves his walks, however he is often reluctant to go past the clinic as he is more than aware that’s where the vets work. He loves when volunteers visit as licking them is one of his favou...

I was brought to Soi Dog with a large wound in the middle of my back. It was causing me so much pain and I was very scared. T...

Hello, my name is Vita. You may have previously read about my babies Veni and Vidi, who came to Soi Dog with me. Now I would like to tell you my story.
I have never had a home of my own or an owner to care for me. I was born on the streets of Phuket, Thailand, like thousands of other dogs, and had to fend for myself my whole life. By the time Veni and Vidi were born, I was in a very bad way.

I am only a young boy, just 2 years old, but I have already suffered more than any dog should in a lifetime. I was brought to Soi Dog with a terrible wound on my neck. The vets suspected that somebody had stabbed me. I was crying in pain and absolutely terrified. My name is Dean.
The wound on my neck was badly infected as it had been left untreated for so long. When the vets examined it, they saw that it was full of dead maggots. They started me on medicine and they carefully cleaned my wound e...

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SAVE MORE BABIES LIKE YUMI & EMI 19th Jun 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
We are a little boy called Yumi and his sister Emi. A tourist couple walking on a lonely beach found Emi curled up on top of a plastic bag. Inside the bag was Yumi. We had been dumped there and left to die. We were only a week old.
The tourist couple took us back to where they were staying and looked after us for two days, while trying to get help. This was how we ended up at Soi Dog. From the shelter, we were sent to a lady called Khun Mia. She is a foster carer for little babies like us who c...

I am a beach dog of Thailand. This means I don’t have an owner or a home of my own. I was born into this situation and have lived my whole life like this. There are so many of us here. We get by from day to day, scavenging for food and trying to stay out of danger. Danger found me the day I went looking for food in the wrong place and got kicked in the face. My name is Ivory.
I arrived at Soi Dog with a deep wound very close to my right eye. I was terrified and in a lot of pain. I didn’t kn...
