Please CLICK HERE To Help Suffering Street Dogs And Cats
3rd Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

I am Malaki, an old boy of about 10 years of age. I was born a street dog and never had an owner to take care of me. It was easier when I was a young dog, but as I aged, I developed problems and life got very difficult for me. There was a very nice man who lived near my territory. He came to check on me every day and give me food. I wouldn’t have survived without him but one day, the man told me he had to move away. He was worried about who would look after me when he left and so he took me t...

Can You Sponsor Domonic? Please CLICK HERE To Help
3rd Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Domonic came to the shelter from Wat Ban Don in a sorry state. He was hairless with serious thyroid problems. Since then, he keeps growing a little bit more hair all the time and the volunteers think he is handsome and has a wonderful nature. The staff have to rub sunscreen on him as his skin tends to burn and this is important as he likes to spend his days sunbathing. He has now been living at Soi Dog for 7 years and has his own patch around the staff dinner table. Please consider a monthly...

Hello, I am Milla, the little girl in the middle of this photo. I would like to introduce you to my sister Midi and my brother Mitch. We are all just 5 weeks old. We were found abandoned and alone, with no mother and no human taking care of us. Everyone looked for our mother for a long time but she was never found. We were probably dumped there by someone who hadn’t got our mother sterilised and didn’t want us when we were born. We were so tiny and would surely die if left without a moth...

My name is SONNY - PLEASE ADOPT ME! Email deb@soidog.org to adopt me They call me Sonny, I'm 3 years old and I am lucky to be alive. I've lived on the streets of Phuket, Thailand since I can remember. I don't remember my mum, I only remember constantly looking for food to stop the hunger pains. Last year I was so sick I thought I was going to die. I was skinny, I couldn't eat and I had no energy. Some nice people brought me to Soi Dog where they treated me for something called blood parasi...

Meet Bobo the biker dog! Bobo is a beach dog of Phuket, Thailand, who was adopted by a lifeguard. This photo was taken while the lifeguard was having his lunch in a restaurant a few metres away. Bobo sits on their motorbike and waits loyally for his owner. After a few minutes, Bobo did get impatient and start barking for his owner to hurry up and finish his lunch. He still didn’t leave his position on the bike though, and remains sitting there with his owner sitting behind him while they sl...

Please CLICK HERE To Join Shiver's Puppy Care Club
2nd Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Want to help the orphaned, neglected and abused puppies of Thailand? You can do so by joining Shiver’s Puppy Care Club. Soi Dog picks up many young puppies every week. Most have been abandoned on roadsides or dumped and left to die. Unfortunately only the lucky ones are found and given a second chance. Sadly these very young puppies have often been separated from their mothers and have very little resistance to disease. Due to the vulnerability of tiny puppies, some do not survive. You can...

Can You Help A Dog Like Java? Please CLICK HERE To Donate
2nd Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

HIT REPEATEDLY OVER THE HEAD WITH A STICK, I CRIED AND CRIED UNTIL I COULD CRY NO MORE… “I am an 8 year old boy called Java. Born on the streets of Phuket, Thailand, I have never known what it’s like to have a roof over my head or a loving owner to care for me. I had to depend on myself to survive. Some days, I would be lucky and find food in the trash, or a kind stranger would throw me something to eat. I will never understand humans though; why are some nice to me and some want to hurt...

I WAS HUNGRY. I BEGGED A MAN FOR SOME FOOD BUT HE KICKED ME IN THE FACE… I am a beach dog of Thailand. This means I was born without an owner to care for me and the only home I have ever known is the beach. My name is Ivory and I am a two year old girl. I look a lot better now than I did when I first arrived at Soi Dog. I had been wandering the beach desperately trying to find some food. I approached a human who was eating, in the hope that he might share a little with me. Instead, he kicked...

I am now well and I'm looking for a home where there are no other dogs, although I could be good with a submissive male dog. I love the attention from the volunteers and when they stop patting ...
