4th Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

My name is Daxton. I am a boy of about 7½ years of age. I was brought to Soi Dog with a nasty wound on my back, after being bitten by another dog. I am only a little boy and I was hurting a lot. We street dogs don’t have owners to care for us and I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. Luckily for me, I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter, where the vets Dr. Jennifer and Dr. Eed have been looking after me. I have my wound cleaned and treated every day. After it gets cleaned, the vets...

PLEASE ADOPT SNOWY - PLEASE WATCH HER VIDEO BELOW I was stolen from the streets of northern Thailand and am a survivor of the illegal dog meat trade. I would have been SKINNED ALIVE AND BOILED FOR MY MEAT, but I was so lucky to be saved by Soi Dog Foundation.. I was so afraid – I was stolen from my human family and squashed into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doin...

My name is BAZU - PLEASE ADOPT ME Email deb@soidog.org to adopt me. I am 1 year old, 4 months old and I came to Soi Dog in Phuket 4 months ago with a nasty wound to my leg. HIT BY A CAR AND LEFT TO DIE ALL ALONE AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD… I am a one year old girl and I am a street dog of Thailand. Born without an owner to care for me, every day of my short life has been a fight to survive. I thought I’d lost the fight the day I was hit by a car and left to die at the side of the road. My name is Yoki and this is my story. The car accident damaged my back right leg very badly. I lay there, all alone and in agonising pain. I was petrified of the speeding traffic ...

4th Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

TWO LITTLE SISTERS SUFFERING AND ALL ALONE IN THE WORLD… We are Swirly and Sweepy. We are only 10 months old, born on the street with nowhere to call home and nobody to love us. Fighting to survive, we developed demodectic mange and lost all our fur. We were frighteningly skinny and had lost the will to live. All we had was each other and by the end, even that wasn’t enough. We had all but given up one day when a man approached us. We huddled together in fear as he bent down beside us. ...

I WAS STOLEN TO BE SKINNED ALIVE FOR MY MEAT. Where to now… PLEASE ADOPT ME... My name is PRANCER and I am one of the lucky ones. I was saved from a certain excruciating death destined for a restaurant dinner table. Late at night I was taken from the front of my house and crammed into a cage full of other dogs. I was trembling so much with fear and shock and I watched my house disappear as the truck drove away. I am bigger than a normal sized dog and it hurt being squashed in the metal cage...

11 DOGS SAVED AT THE 11th HOUR: DOG THIEF ARRESTED; STOLEN DOGS SAVED FROM TORTURE AND SLAUGHTER… On Tuesday, July 1st, 11 terrified dogs were saved from certain death. Having been snatched off the streets in Tak Province, Thailand, the dogs were destined to be skinned or boiled alive as part of the barbaric dog meat trade. DESPERATELY SICK AND ALL ALONE ON THE STREET... HOW COULD I CARE FOR MY TWO LITTLE BABIES? My name is Vita and I have been a very sick lady. I was born a street dog, which means I have never had an owner to care for me. By the time I gave birth to my two little babies Veni and Vidi, I was in a very bad way. I had developed something called sarcoptic mange and a terrible fungal skin infection. I was itching and scratching constantly. Frighteningly skinny and weak, I had lost all my once beauti...

Hi I'm PUDDLEBY - PLEASE ADOPT ME Please email cristy@soidog.org for all adoption enquiries. It was a day I can never forget. It started off well but then my siblings and I were all put into a big metal box that moved and than dumped in a cold, wet drain left to fend for ourselves. Cold and starving, Soi Dog found us and bought us to the shelter in Phuket Thailand. Not a great way to start out life, but I am grateful we didn’t starve to death on the streets of Phuket. I am a gentle girl an...

I am Malaki, an old boy of about 10 years of age. I was born a street dog and never had an owner to take care of me. It was easier when I was a young dog, but as I aged, I developed problems and life got very difficult for me. There was a very nice man who lived near my territory. He came to check on me every day and give me food. I wouldn’t have survived without him but one day, the man told me he had to move away. He was worried about who would look after me when he left and so he took me t...

Can You Sponsor Domonic? Please CLICK HERE To Help
3rd Jul 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

Domonic came to the shelter from Wat Ban Don in a sorry state. He was hairless with serious thyroid problems. Since then, he keeps growing a little bit more hair all the time and the volunteers think he is handsome and has a wonderful nature. The staff have to rub sunscreen on him as his skin tends to burn and this is important as he likes to spend his days sunbathing. He has now been living at Soi Dog for 7 years and has his own patch around the staff dinner table. Please consider a monthly...

Hello, I am Milla, the little girl in the middle of this photo. I would like to introduce you to my sister Midi and my brother Mitch. We are all just 5 weeks old. We were found abandoned and alone, with no mother and no human taking care of us. Everyone looked for our mother for a long time but she was never found. We were probably dumped there by someone who hadn’t got our mother sterilised and didn’t want us when we were born. We were so tiny and would surely die if left without a moth...
