Hi my name is SOPHIE LEK - PLEASE ADOPT ME! Please email cristy@soidog.org for adoption enquiries. I am a medium sized girl nearly 4 years old and I came to the Soi Dog Phuket shelter when I was only a 3month old pup with my mother. We had been living in an area where we were not wanted, so people hit and kicked us to try and make us go away. This was very traumatic for both of us and it made me afraid of some people. I can sometimes be a shy girl and take my time to trust people but I am ...

My name is Dewar and I am a 4 year old girl. I was found on a beach by some kind people who fed the many beach dogs every day. They had never seen me there before and were worried that the other dogs would attack me for being on their territory. They could also see that I looked very unwell. I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter, extremely weak and very skinny. I had discharge from both my eyes and cataracts in both. I had a bad case of mange and a fungal skin infection. All my once beautifu...

The vets said I had something called demodectic mange and was infested with ticks. A lot of my fur had fallen out and I had no appetite. I was weak and depressed. Dr. Euge...
