I am a 7 year old boy called Martian. My whole life has been lived on the streets, with nowhere to call home and no owner to care for me. I was managing to get by, until the day I was attacked by another dog and left with a very bad wound on my back. As I had no human to take me to the vet, the wound became seriously infected and before long, was infested with maggots. I was in so much pain when I was spotted by a man called Khun Sanae. He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog. He scooped ...

THE DOG SNATCHERS DON’T WANT YOU TO READ THIS… The public awareness billboards against the illegal dog meat trade are working! Concerned citizens continue to call the advertised hotline number to report dog trafficking activity. As a result of one billboard, 22 dogs were saved from torture and slaughter. As a result of another, 10 illegal dog butchers, fearing arrest, shut down their shops voluntarily. Much progress is being made but we must keep the pressure on. For just $25, YOU can ...

My name is PETTI POI - PLEASE ADOPT ME Email deb@soidog.org to adopt me. I've had a rough life so far and I'm not even 2 years old yet. I've been let down so many times by humans and I've never done anything wrong. Let me tell you my story. My mum was owned by a man here in Phuket, Thailand and he dumped both me and my mum when I was only a few weeks old. We were both in a bad way: skinny and suffering from malnutrition. We were both brought to Soi Dog where we slowly got better and lear...

My name is Valentina and I am a beautiful six year old girl. I was picked up by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon and taken to a Soi Dog mobile clinic to be sterilised. Dr. Sai also noticed that I had a TVT tumour – a type of cancer easily transmitted between us street dogs. I was immediately sent to the Soi Dog shelter for further ...
