I am a 5½ year old boy called Hamza and I have been in a lot of pain recently. A road traffic accident left me badly injured and unable to walk. A monk from a temple near my territory called Soi Dog and I was picked up and taken to the shelter.
I couldn’t stand on my back left leg and I also had a wound on one of my other legs. I was sent to a specialist hospital for x-rays and then I returned to the Soi Dog shelter for treatment.

Nanachat lived on the streets of Phuket all his life until Soi Dog found him struggling and gave him a permanent home at the shelter.
He was not eating well and his hair was also starting to fall out especially around his backside. Dr Su says his hair is unlikely to grow back.
