Planning a trip to Thailand and a visit to Soi Dog? Soi Dog welcomes visitors and our shelter is open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to midday and again from 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
Guided tours happen 3 times a day: 9.30am, 11.00am and the last one at 1.30pm. Do ensure you arrive in advance of one of these times and you will be given a tour of our shelter and get to meet many of the animals in our care.

Did you know that Soi Dog also rescues, sterilises and cares for thousands of cats each year?
Se Kam, pictured below, is just one of them. She was dumped on the street when she was no longer wanted. A tough situation for any cat, but Se Kam had an extra challenge – she is blind.
Thanks to the Soi Dog supporters who have joined our Care for Cats Club, Se Kam was rescued and taken to our shelter. She has since been adopted and finally has her forever home.

Butcher Arrested For Second Time

Sadly all dogs had already been killed. No photos of dead and butchered dogs are included here but show a typical butchers "shop" hidden deep in the jungle. The description below is from our team.
Dogs meat shop raid, caught redhanded on the chopping board at Nakoo, Kalasin.
Soi Dog sponsored WDT and suppression unit team, police region 4 while on the survelliance for major dogs smugglers, came across the local dogs meat shop, once arrested before, returned to sell the dogs meat again.

Zeus (aka King) came to live at Soi Dog 6 years ago and his scars tell a story of a tough life on the streets.
