My name is Petti Poi - PLEASE ADOPT ME
Email deb@soidog.org to ADOPT me.
I've had a rough life so far and I'm not even 2 years old yet. I've been let down so many times by humans and I've never done anything wrong. Let me tell you my story.
My mum was owned by a man here in Phuket, Thailand and he dumped both me and my mum when I was only a few weeks old. We were both in a bad way: skinny and suffering from malnutrition. We were both brought to Soi Dog where we slowly got better and lear...

Domonic came to the shelter from Wat Ban Don in a sorry state. He was hairless with serious thyroid problems. Since then, he keeps growing a little bit more hair all the time and the volunteers think he is handsome and has a wonderful nature.
The staff have to rub sunscreen on him as his skin tends to burn and this is important as he likes to spend his days sunbathing. He has now been living at Soi Dog for 7 years and has his own patch around the staff dinner table.
Please consider a monthly...

Please CLICK HERE For More Information On Our Puppy Care Club. 8th Sep 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Soi Dog picks up many young puppies every week. Most have been abandoned on roadsides or dumped and left to die.
Unfortunately only the lucky ones are found and given a second chance.
Sadly these very young puppies have often been separated from their mothers and have very little resistance to disease. Due to the vulnerability of tiny puppies, some do not survive.
You can help give these young puppies a chance at life by joining Shiver’s Puppy Care Club.
For more information and to join...

I was so excited about the world around me. There was so much to see and do, so many exciting places to explore. Every day of my young life brought new adventures. I wasn’t expecting to be hurt so badly.
I was running across the road when the big car came out of nowhere. I will always remember the loud screeching as it tried to st...

Taken away from my family and crushed into a cage with many other dogs and driven away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me.

Nanachat lived on the streets of Phuket all his life until Soi Dog found him struggling and gave him a permanent home at the shelter.
He was not eating well and his hair was also starting to fall out especially around his backside. Dr Su says his hair is unlikely to grow back.
At the shelter he has friends to play with, regular meals and vets to keep him healthy.
He loves to lie on his bamboo sala in the hot afternoons with his friends. He also has a habit of barking for attention from our...
