Soi Dog often receives messages from supporters asking how they can help. One of the most effective ways people can help the neglected and abused animals in Soi Dog's care is through peer to peer fund raising.

I will never forget the pain of that day. As a street dog with no owner to care for me, survival was down to me alone. It had always been that way.
While running around scavenging for food one day, my foot was caught in a wild boar trap. It pierced through my flesh and ripped my foot apart.
I howled in agony but it made no difference. There was nobody to help me.

Soi Dog treats and sterilises over 1,000 dogs and cats each month.
In 2013, we sterilised more than 13,000 animals and are on track to sterilise 20,000 this year.
Each sterilisation costs us approximately US$20, meaning Soi Dog will spend $400,000 this year.
Many of the dogs and cats we pick up also require lifesaving, emergency treatment.
The average cost of treating the cases we see is US$30 per animal, or approximately US$40,000 a year.

Soi Dog picks up many young puppies every week. Most have been abandoned on roadsides, dumped and left to die. This was the case with Latif, Lenka, Livia and Lasaro.
A Thai lady found this little family abandoned behind a local hospital. The lady kept watch for hours on end, waiting for the mother to appear. She never did.
These babies had no doubt been removed from their mother and abandoned. They would never have survived if this lady had not found them and called us.
