Each year, Soi Dog cares for, sterilises and treats thousands of cats.

Please CLICK HERE To Adopt Me Or Email Cristy@soidog.org 15th Sep 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
I am a survivor of the illegal Dog Meat Trade.
Please email cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me.
I have never known such fear – I was taken away from my family and squashed into a small metal cage with many other dogs and taken away on a truck to cross the border. I am bigger than a normal sized dog and it hurt being in the metal cage with other dogs. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us? I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, t...

Please CLICK HERE To Watch A Short Video About Our Sponsor Club Or To Sponsor Lucy. 15th Sep 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Lucy was found on the street by a man who brought her to the Soi Dog shelter. She was just a few months old and absolutely terrified.
Lucy has been frightened of people her entire life, but we don't know why. Probably as a result of terrible trauma or abuse when she was very young, something she's sadly never forgotten.
Despite concerted efforts to socialise Lucy, she still remains very fearful of people; she runs away if you try to approach her and retreats to her corner.
She is the most ...

I am Puddleby. Please EMAIL cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me.
It was a day I can ever forget. It started off well but then my siblings and I were all put into a big metal box and than dumped in a cold drain left to fend for ourselves. Cold and starving Soi Dog found us and bought us to the shelter. Not a great way to start out life but I am grateful we didn’t starve to death on the streets of Phuket.
I am nearly 2 years old and have spent all my life here except for the first month before we w...

Please CLICK HERE To Find Out More About Helping Street Dogs Like Modac. 14th Sep 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
As a young street dog, I’ve had to learn so much, so quickly. Being hit by a car made me realise how scary the world can be for a dog that has no owner to care for him.
My name is Modac. I am just 5 months old.
I didn’t see the car until it was too late. I was running around trying to find food and darted into the road without paying attention. I guess I was still too young to have learnt the road sense of the older dogs.
A kind man who saw what had happened took me to a vet clinic for e...

Only YOU Can Save Street Dogs Like Nikku. Please CLICK HERE To Find Out More. 14th Sep 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
I will never forget the pain of that day. As a street dog with no owner to care for me, survival was down to me alone. It had always been that way.
While running around scavenging for food one day, my foot was caught in a wild boar trap. It pierced through my flesh and ripped my foot apart.
I howled in agony but it made no difference. There was nobody to help me.
My name is Nikku; I am 2 years old.
I have never been so scared. I can no longer remember how long I’d been lying there, alone...
