Please DONATE Today To Help Stray Dogs Like Alivia That Have Nobody Else To Turn To.
12th Oct 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

They call me Alivia. I have never had a name before. I have lived on the streets for over 9 years and was brought to Soi Dog when my old age finally caught up with me. I guess I should have known better, but I am not as quick as I used to be. When I wandered into the road, I didn’t have time to get out of the way before the speeding car hit me. The vets here have diagnosed me with kidney disease, anaemia and a tick-borne illness called ehrlichiosis. The car accident also left me with a frac...

Jolt came to the shelter in November 2013 after it was suspected that she had been hit by a car. She was skinny, unable to walk and suffering from blood parasites. Fast forward 11 months and Jolt is living the dream in the UK after she was adopted by Angie and her family. She is now called Indi and looks so fit and healthy. We are so happy that Indi has found her forever home and we are eternally grateful for Angie for adopting Indi. http://www.soidog.org/en/adoptions/adoption -questionnai...

My name is Weevil - PLEASE ADOPT ME! Email deb@soidog.org to ADOPT me. I am a 2 year old girl and have been at the shelter here in Phuket, Thailand since I was 4 months old. They told me that the car had damaged by hips and back. I was so grateful to the people at Soi Dog for everything they have ...

Soi Dog treats and sterilises over 1,000 dogs and cats each month. In 2013, we sterilised more than 13,000 animals and are on track to sterilise 20,000 this year. Each sterilisation costs us approximately US$20, meaning Soi Dog will spend $400,000 this year. Many of the dogs and cats we pick up also require lifesaving, emergency treatment. The average cost of treating the cases we see is US$30 per animal, or approximately US$40,000 a year. Without regular donations from kind-hearted Soi D...

SOI DOG FOUNDATION SPONSORSHIP MONTH - Meet Korma! My name is Korma and I was found with my eight young puppies. I had no one to care for me and I didn’t want to leave my puppies to find food or water for myself. Thankfully, my luck changed when we were found and brought to the Soi Dog shelter. My puppies have now grown up and found their own loving homes. I would love to have a home of my own, but until then, maybe YOU can sponsor me? Please click on my photo to watch a short video a...

Every day was the same. At the age of just 5 months, I was waiting to die. I lay by the side of the road, too exhausted to move. I didn’t have the energy to find food, I was overcome with suffering. My name is Nippy. I would cry out occasionally, but nobody heard me. The itching would go on and on, there was no relief. I scratched constantly, opening up sores that were trying to heal over and creating yet more at the same time. My story is one of misery and pain. It ended the day Soi Dog fou...

I really do not know what I did wrong and I try not to think about those bleak days in th...

I wish I could tell you how my suffering started but the fact is we will never know for sure. I know I am not a dog, but there are so many stray cats like me who desperately need help and I hope you will read my story. I am a 2 year old boy called Wattana, who arrived at Soi Dog unable to stand up or walk. A kind local person had found me like this and brought me to the shelter, from where the vets took over. I heard them say there was a serious problem with my left front leg which was beyond ...

Please DONATE Today To Help Many More Dogs Like Prowler.
11th Oct 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation

The speeding car came out of nowhere. I am only a little boy of 4 months; I didn’t stand a chance. It was my first life lesson as a stray dog of Thailand and I will never forget the pain. My name is Prowler and I was brought to Soi Dog with a severely injured leg as a result of that accident. It was a man called Khun Yut who found me. He told me he was an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and that he was going to take me somewhere safe. At the shelter, I was examined by Dr. Jennifer, who t...

My name is AL - PLEASE ADOPT ME! Email deb@soidog.org to ADOPT me. I am 2 years old and I have been here at the shelter in Phuket, Thailand, since I was a few days old. I have no idea what I did wrong when I was dumped in a cardboard box along with my 7 brothers and sisters outside the entrance of Soi Dog. We didn't know where our mum was and we were so ill. A very kind lady hand fed us all every few hours for weeks. I am so grateful to her; if Soi Dog hadn't helped us - we all would have d...
