We would like to tell you about a little boy named Hero. Some of you will know him but many of you won’t.
His story is just one example of what the donations of Soi Dog supporters have achieved and continue to achieve every day.
We first heard about Hero when a local lady contacted us. She had found Hero lying in a corner behind a building.
He had been brutally stabbed in several places. He was bleeding profusely and had crawled into the corner to die.

When the bigger dog attacked me, I was so lucky to escape with my life. The attack on my face left me with a seriously injured eye but I could have been blinded.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in desperate condition, over 3 years ago now.
I was suffering from horrendous skin problems and my coat was dreadfully matted and filthy. They called me Dreadlock.
Today, I still have skin problems and have hardly any fur left. Problems with my bones cause me to limp.

I am Egobail, a one year old boy who has grown up on the streets. I’ve never known an owner’s love or what it was to have a home of my own. I arrived at Soi Dog after being savagely attacked by a dog.

I am Burrito, an old boy who arrived at Soi Dog with horrendous skin problems.
I am about 10 years old now and when Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon found me, my fur had fallen out, leaving bald patches all over my body.
Dr. Sai is taking care of me now and tells me I have a bad fungal skin infection. She has put me on medication and my treatment is being funded by the donations of Soi Dog supporters. It is only thanks to them that I will recover and get all my fur back once more.
