It was a day I can never forget. It started off well but then my siblings and I were all put into a big metal box and than dumped in a cold drain left to fend for ourselves. Cold and starving Soi Dog found us and bought us to the shelter. Not a great way to start out life but I am grateful we didn’t starve to death on the streets of Phuket.

I am a 9 year old girl who is learning to walk again after being hit by a car. They call me Alivia. I have never had a name before.
The car fractured my leg and the vets have also said I have kidney disease, anaemia and a tick-borne illness called ehrlichisois.

Please Save Dogs Like Yariana From A Lifetime Of Pain

Yariana is a street dog of about 4 years. She arrived at our shelter after being found by one of our Animal Rescue Officers, who noticed Yariana had an extremely swollen belly. On examination by our vets, she was found to have a large amount of fluid on the abdomen.
Stray dogs like Yariana have nobody to care for them when they get ill and without urgent intervention, things can deteriorate very quickly.

Eugene arrived at the Soi Dog shelter, Phuket, Thailand in November 2013. It was feared that he had been dumped as no one could find his owner. He had cataracts on both eyes, an injury to his hind legs and he was depressed and frightened.
After months of hard work by the vets, he made a great recovery. Despite his limited vision he loved his walks with the volunteers. He came to recognize their voices and could be found waiting excitedly at the gate for his turn.
