Thank you so much to Olivia Laval who used her birthday to raise funds for Soi Dog. Instead of receiving gifts, she asked everyone to donate for the dogs and cats of Thailand and raised AUD$140 at her birthday party!
Olivia first heard about Soi Dog when she read an article in the local paper about Soi Dog supporter Skye Sinclair’s fundraising efforts against the dog meat trade. Below are Skye and Olivia, pictured together. Thank you both!

Othello is a 4 year stray dog of Thailand, one of thousands on the island of Phuket alone, where Soi Dog is based.
These beach and street dogs are fed by the local people in their community. In Othello’s case, when one of the people who fed him regularly noticed that he was no longer interested in eating, he picked him up and brought him to our shelter.

When this little 4 month old boy arrived at our shelter, he was so beautiful the staff named him Unique.
Sadly, Unique was in a very bad way. Suffering from demodectic mange, all his fur was falling out and his little body was covered in crusty sores from where he had been scratching himself non-stop.

Soi Dog treats and sterilises over 1,000 dogs and cats each month.
Many of these dogs and cats require lifesaving, emergency treatment.
Without regular donations from kind-hearted Soi Dog supporters, none of these animals could be helped.
We call these supporters our Emergency Response Team.
You may not be in Thailand, but you can still save critically injured dogs and cats by becoming a member of Soi Dog's Emergency Response Team.

Many of you already know me – My name is Dillon and I am a Pit Bull.
After being dumped on the streets of Phuket my situation was dire.
However a lovely couple named Toby and Anna saw my story and contacted Soi Dog to adopt me.
They were very suitable and the staff at Soi Dog were very happy for me. I travelled by plane and car to my new home with the help of Khun Nont and Mark.
