I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after a kind person called to report that people near my territory were bashing me with an iron rod.
My named is Bamboo.
That was 5 months ago now – I don’t know why they were so cruel to me; I never did anything wrong. After a few days at the shelter, I knew I was safe.

I Am Clover And I Have Been Through So Much… Please Read My Story.
I am a 6 year old boy who arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in a great deal of pain. I was very skinny and infested with ticks.
When the vets examined me, I heard them say I have something called stomatitis, which means the inside of my mouth is very inflamed and sore. I also have ehrlichiosis, which is a disease I got from all the ticks. Many of my teeth are rotten and I have anaemia.

Samosa came to Soi Dog, Phuket, Thailand in October 2013 after his mum Korma and his 7 brothers and sisters were dumped. He was just 5 days old.
Samosa had been at the shelter for 6 months . Tian and Jidapa visited the shelter in May this year and fell in love with Samosa. They visited him several times before he left for his forever home.

I was found with a horrific wound on my head that had become infected and was full of maggots.
I think this wound was caused by a horrible person, but I can’t tell you for sure as I am blind.

Papu is a 3 year old stray dog who arrived at our shelter recently. One of the people who fed her daily had found her after she’d been hit by a car.
