Please Help Stray Animals That Have Nobody Else To Turn To 30th Dec 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
I was so ill when I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter. I am one of millions of stray dogs in Thailand and I have never had anybody to care for me. My name is Swami.
My fur was falling out in handfuls, leaving bald patches all over my body. The vets also said I had something called ehrlichiosis, which is caused by ticks, as well as heartworm and anaemia. On top of all that, I was diagnosed with kidney problems.
Life on the streets can be tough for dogs like me. It is a daily battle to survive and ...

Without regular donations from kind-hearted Soi Dog supporters, none of these animals could be helped.
We call these supporters our Emergency Response Team.
You may not be in Thailand, but you can still save critically injured dogs and cats by becoming a member of Soi Dog's Emergency Response Team.
Please click the pictures of Kenia to find out more. Than...

Please Save Dogs Like Bus From A Lifetime Of Suffering 29th Dec 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Bus got his name because he was dumped at a local bus station. Maybe it was the fact that his little body was riddled with tumours, the largest of which was by one of his front legs, that made his owner decide they no longer wanted him.
He was picked up by one of our Animal Rescue Officers and is now at our shelter. The tumour on his front leg is the size of a tennis ball and he has several smaller tumours on his belly. Clearly, Bus was neglected for a long time.
Thanks to Soi Dog supporters, ...

My name is Reese. PLEASE ADOPT ME!
E-mail deb@soidog.org to adopt me!
I am 3 years and 3 months old and have been living at the Soi Dog shelter, Phuket, Thailand for very nearly 3 years now.
I was found by Soi Dog, abandoned on the beach when I was still very young. It is scary to be on your own in the outside world. Street dogs threaten to attack you and unkind people threaten to harm you. I was lucky to survive really and to be offered a new home at Soi Dog.
I generally do okay at th...

Click Here For More Information On Our Sponsor Club 29th Dec 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
My name is Justice and I have been living at the Soi Dog shelter for over a year now.
I arrived here after the founder John received a phone call that I had been abandoned on the bridge that connects the island of Phuket to the mainland. This area is a common dumping ground for unwanted dogs and puppies.
I was so frightened as the trucks and cars whizzed past me and when John found me I was cowering with fear against the bridge. Thankfully John took me to live at the Soi Dog shelter where I ...

Please CLICK HERE To Adopt Soi Dog Today. 29th Dec 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Mebun came to Soi Dog Shelter, Phuket, Thailand in April 2014. He was found under a house with no sign of his mum. Mebun had a terribly infected eye. Sadly the vets were unable to save his eye and it was removed.
Mebun was adopted by Lexi in the USA in August. It didn’t take long for him to settle in and for his cheeky side to come through. Mebun is now called Meebs and as you can see he’s growing into a handsome young cat.
We would like to thank to everyone who helped Meebs and to ...

The Animal Lovers 29th Dec 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
With the recent 10th anniversary of the devastating Asian tsunami, our thoughts are with all those who so tragically lost their lives and the loved ones they left behind.
The tsunami and tragic events earlier that year had a profound effect on Soi Dog Foundation and its founders, John and Gill, but showed that out of the darkest of days, something good could come.
Please read the attached article from the Bangkok Post to learn more.

Have You Ever Felt Helpless?
Imagine, a dog lying on the side of the road, in pain and suffering and you have no way to help them. Many sick and injured dogs in Thailand are in desperate need of a proper hospital, with x-ray machine and adequate facilities to save lives.
Soi Dog can only help a limited number due to our small, outdated clinic. These dogs deserve a dedicated hospital, with proper facilities, where many more lives can be saved.
YOU can help to make this happen. Please donate t...

Please Save Dogs Like This From A Lifetime Of Misery 28th Dec 2014, by Soi Dog Foundation
Spuds is just another example of the suffering endured by the millions of stray dogs in Thailand. Our Animal Rescue Officers were dispatched to pick her up after we received an email from a concerned local.
Spuds is only about 3 years of age and has already been through so much. She arrived at our shelter with no fur, her frail body covered in crusty, bleeding sores. A skin scrape showed a severe case of demodectic mange, very common among the stray dogs of Thailand.
Treating dogs like Spuds...

Someone like you helped rescue these dogs before they were butchered for their meat. Will you help nurse them back to health by clicking this link? http://bit.ly/dogmeattraderescues
These dogs were snatched from streets and backyards in Thailand and tossed into cramped, filthy cages. The people who stole them planned to skin them alive, throw them into a vat of boiling water, and slaughter them for their meat.
Thousands of dogs have been rescued to date. Now they need your help to survive. W...
