I am nearly 12 years of age now. My name is Zeus King and I have been at the Soi Dog shelter for nearly 8 years.
The first few years of my life were lived on the streets, fighting just to survive. The scars on my body tell their own story.

Most temples here on the island of Phuket are home to packs of dogs. They are fed and cared for by the resident monks and Soi Dog Foundation provides each temple with food and medical care for them.

Did you know that you don’t have to be in Thailand to be a part of Soi Dog Foundation’s Emergency Response Team? Our work of spaying, neutering and providing medical treatment to over 1,000 dogs and cats a month is funded by this team.

AT 10 YEARS OF AGE, PUMA ARRIVED AT OUR SHELTER ON THE BRINK OF DEATH...
She had been hit by a car and left for dead. Injuries to both her hind legs meant she struggled to walk. She was also diagnosed with severe anaemia and low blood platelets. Shockingly weak, it was an immediate battle to save her life.

A VISIT TO SOI DOG
Soi Dog Foundation recently had two very special visitors, when our founder John welcomed his son Lee, and Lee’s wife Anne-Marie, to our shelter.

I have been at the Soi Dog shelter for over 4 years. My name is See Nin, but you can call me Batman as I look just like him.
I came to Soi Dog with a broken hip, a spinal injury, and wasted muscles in my back legs. The vets nursed me back to health and I slowly learnt to trust people.

Heartfelt thanks to the pupils of The American School of The Hague in Holland!
After months of fundraising events and activities, they have funded 6 treatment tables for the new dog hospital, as well as signing up to sponsor two dogs (Twinnie and Shiver) for a year.
The children raised a grand total of €8,232 – an incredible accomplishment. On behalf of all the animals in our care, thank you all!
