For George, the day his whole world changed started out like any other. Asleep by the side of the street in his village in northern Thailand, he awoke in terror when metal tongs suddenly latched onto his neck.
Writhing in agony, his panicked screams were silenced when he was hurled into a tiny metal cage on top of other petrified dogs. George was destined to be butchered for his meat. But first, he would be boiled alive.

Groucho is the picture of misery and suffering. At the tender age of 6 months, she has lost almost all the fur on her lower half.

This beautiful 3 year old girl was found lying in the street by a kind passer-by. She was unable to move and rapidly getting weaker. The man who found Wilma managed to pick her up and get her to our shelter.
The injuries to both her back legs indicate that she has been hit by a car. She is unable to put weight on her legs at the moment and was in a lot of pain when she arrived at our shelter. Despite this, she is one of the lucky ones.
