Treasure was found on a local beach, weak and emaciated, and unable to walk properly. A nice lady who was walking on the beach spotted her, managed to get her into her car, and brought her to our shelter.
This beautiful girl had a big wound near her left hip and was shockingly skinny, even though she was eating well. Here joints were swollen and she was in a lot of pain. She was also diagnosed with blood parasites and arthritis.

Rescued From The Dog Meat Trade & In Need Of Homes

Over 1,300 dogs live in a purpose-built shelter in northern Thailand - within 4 concrete walls and often in compounds with up to 150 other dogs. The vast majority are friendly and sociable. Living in this type of environment is very stressful and many cannot cope.

Sten arrived at our shelter after a car accident left him with a broken hind leg. He was found lying alone and in agony at the side of the road.
Thanks to the Soi Dog supporters who have joined our Emergency Response Team, we were able to provide Sten with the urgent medical treatment he needed and save his leg.
He has made a great recovery and is now safe at our shelter until he finds his forever home.

NO DOG DESERVES WHAT FINCH HAS BEEN THROUGH
At just 3 years of age, Finch has been blinded. Having grown up on the streets, never knowing a loving touch or a kind word, this beautiful boy was then hit by a speeding car, sustaining such serious injuries to both his eyes that he lost his sight.

Last year, 10 year old Tally arrived at our shelter having been hit by a car. He was found by a kind person who noticed he was bleeding from his nose and who raced him to our shelter.
Further examination of Tally revealed that he was suffering from hip dysplasia and anaemia, and had an old, untreated fracture to his lower jaw. Life on the streets had not been kind to this old boy.
