Hello, My Name Is Mazaki. As It's Nearly The Holid..
14th Dec 2022, by Soi Dog Foundation

Hello, my name is Mazaki. 🐱 As it's nearly the holidays, I thought it would be nice to dress up. How do I look? Although it's nice to make an extra special effort every now and then, I've always been told it's what's on the inside that counts. This is especially good for many of us shelter cats, as quite a few of us have our little differences. And even if I do say so myself, us rescue cats tend to have the biggest of hearts. Like me for example; there is nothing I love more than sharing a...

Another week, another one-eyed wonderpup for you to meet! Introducing 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Sumoto: https://links.soidog.org/adopt-sumoto Sumoto was brought to Soi Dog in 2019 when he was three months old. He could hardly stand on account of his hip dysplasia, and his right eye was inflamed to the point he’d lost vision in it entirely. The only solution was surgery on both: a procedure to restore movement in his hips and another to remove his sore eye. Three and a half years later, Sumoto...

12th Dec 2022, by Soi Dog Foundation

Unbelievable. That’s the only way to describe the cruelty that Lullabell endured. 💔 One of our Mobile Clinics just so happened to find her one day. A stroke of luck that most likely saved her life. We were told that she had been tied up for two months, and beaten by local people. We can only imagine the painful memories behind those eyes of hers. 😥 The rope that had been used to tie her up had caused deep lesions on her neck. She was also suffering from a severe cases of dermatitis wh...

⚠️ Upsetting images ⚠️ Amigola wanted to share her recovery with you today! It’s been quite some time since we first shared her arrival story with you. But with that sweet face, who could forget. 🥰 Back in the summer, she was found on the side of the road bleeding from her eye. She had most likely been hit by a car and then left there alone – scared and in pain. 😥 It’s a good thing she arrived when she did. Her pain score was 4/4, so it must have been such a relief to recei...

6th Dec 2022, by Soi Dog Foundation

No prizes for guessing how 🌟Dog of the Week🌟 Pupeye got her name 😢 https://links.soidog.org/adopt-pupeye A very poorly Pupeye was brought to the Soi Dog shelter when she was eight weeks old. Our community outreach team found her in the grounds of a temple with a bulging eye which she’d lost all vision in. With the eye only serving to cause her pain, it was removed without delay, and Pupeye gained a permanent wink. At a year and eight months old, Pupeye is all grown up now. Howeve...

This is the story of two best friends, Beluga and Caviar, who were rescued in Thailand and reunited in Canada!🇨🇦 It all started back in 2020 when Soi Dog board member and long-term volunteer Lillian found a skinny Beluga and Caviar scavenging for food in the jungle. She brought them to the Soi Dog shelter for medical care and, once they'd recovered, was kind enough to foster them while they waited to find their forever homes. Hello, my name is Occia. One of the first things you might notice about me is that I look a little different. While it’s true I might stand out. I don’t mind being different. I even like to think it makes me special. After all, if it wasn’t for these scars of mine – I wouldn’t be here today. They represent everything I have been through in life, and just how strong I am. With the help of people like, I was able to recover from the accident that caused my injuries. I still do have a...

4th Dec 2022, by Soi Dog Foundation

Can you please help a senior dog like Kletdao? Sadly, older dogs like her can often get overlooked on the streets. 😔 But just as much as any other dog, they matter too. At nearly 15-years-old, Kletdao had most likely spent her whole life trying to survive as a stray. All that time had taken its toll on her health, and she was found to have a tumour on her left hind leg as well as fungal dermatitis, and a blood parasite. With your help, Kletdao can now receive all of the loving care she ne...
