I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter a few years ago with my 4 babies. We had been dumped on the street and a bad man nearby was threatening to kill us. A kind person who wanted to protect us brought us to the shelter.
My puppies have been adopted but I am still very nervous of people. I will only allow certain long-term volunteers to stroke me.

Twist arrived at our shelter over 5 years ago, after a car accident left him with a seriously injured leg. Thanks to people like YOU, we were able to take him in and care for him.
Twist went on to spend over 4 years at our shelter, before being adopted by Tracy in the UK. Here he is in his forever home! Thank you Tracy for loving this boy so much.

HE WAS FOUND TIED TO A POLE, WITH A BROKEN LEG
This is Jackapong. He is about 7 years of age and just one example of the type of cases passing through our doors each week. Jackapong was found tied to a pole with a heavy metal chain and padlock. His leg was broken.

We first met Suwan after receiving an email from Bruce and Alexandra, who were here on holiday from Germany. They reported seeing an emaciated dog with bad skin problems near a temple they had visited.

Opal was rescued from the streets with severe mange, blood parasites and worms. Shockingly skinny, she was starving to death.
Thanks to people like you, we were able to treat Opal and she made a full recovery, going on to spend over 4 years at our shelter, until she was adopted by Keelan and Frank in Ontario, Canada.

Sunset was just a young puppy when she arrived at our shelter, having been dumped by a busy road. She was in good health but, at such a young age, would never have survived the dangers around her.
