Pek was a sick little boy when he arrived at our shelter last year.
He was battling ascites, a condition that had given him a build-up of fluid in the abdomen and a swollen, painful belly as a result.

MY HEART BROKE AS I WATCHED MY OWNER DRIVE AWAY
I got so excited when my owner put me in the car. Were we going somewhere for a long walk? My tail wagged at the adventure in store.
When we arrived at the long, deserted beach, my tail wagged faster. This was going to be a fun walk!

A year and a half ago, Vidi arrived at our shelter suffering from one of the worst cases of mange our vets have ever dealt with. Her frail body was covered in open, weeping sores and most of her fur had fallen out. She was just a few weeks old.
Thanks to the Soi Dog supporters who have joined our Emergency Response Team, we were able to provide Vidi with the urgent medical treatment she needed and her life was saved. She made a full recovery, has now been adopted, and will leave shortly for her...
