I WAS SAVED IN SOI DOG’S SINGLE LARGEST CAT RESCUE Please ADOPT me! My name is Majory and I am a girl of about 5 years of age. I haven’t been here long, but I’ve made a name for myself already as being one of the most affectionate cats here. If you come and visit I will introduce myself and ask for head rubs all the...

Froto was only a few weeks old when she was found in heart-breaking condition. Suffering with severe conjunctivitis in both eyes, one of her eyeballs had also ruptured, causing her untold pain. Both eyes had constant discharge and her tiny body was covered in fleas. This little girl was all alone in the world. There was no mother in sight, no human to care for her, nowhere to call home apart from the temple where she’d been dumped. It was a miracle she was still alive. These are the sufferin...

SADLY, I CANNOT BE ADOPTED RIGHT NOW. WILL YOU PLEASE SPONSOR MY ONGOING CARE? My sister and I were callously dumped when we were just seven weeks old. I am Mariko. Too small to survive such a cruel world on our own, my sister and I were brought to the Soi Dog shelter by the kind person who found us. My sister was the braver of the two of us and she was soon adopted. Sadly, I am very shy and nervous of people, which means I need a lot more work before I can be adopted. I feel safe here at t...

As reported recently, our ongoing work against the illegal dog meat trade often brings to light evidence of the illegal smuggling of wildlife. Recently, our undercover investigators, while on the look-out for dog meat trade activity, were able to pass information to the Royal Thai Police and the regional Mekong River Unit of the Royal Thai Navy. This information resulted in the confiscation of a huge number of animals that were destined to be illegally smuggled across the Mekong River to Laos...

My name is Mia and I am a 4 year old girl who was saved from Asia’s barbaric dog meat trade. Will you please email cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me? Snatched in the dead of night, crushed into a cage with many other dogs, and driven away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me. Being so small, it was terrifying with so many other dogs barking and crying out in pain. I am a sweet girl and very calm. I sit patiently...

THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME I am just one of thousands of dogs saved from the cruel dog meat trade. We are only alive because of people like you. My name is Jet and I live in Scotland now. This is my story. I was snatched from the street and thrown into a tiny cage containing other petrified dogs. It was far too small to hold us all and many of us sustained broken bones and other injuries. It was just one cage of hundreds, all containing dogs like me and piled high on a horrible truck destined...

What would have happened to poor little Kingfisher without people like you does not bear thinking about. She was in unimaginable pain when she was found, just weeks old, wandering the streets. She was suffering from an infection of worms that had led to a prolapse of her rectum, causing her terrible agony. Little Kingfisher had nobody to help her – she was just another street dog of Thailand. Covered in ticks, particularly inside her ears and across her tiny belly, this little girl would nev...

It was severely swollen and very badly bruised. This leg was causing me a lot of pain and I was struggling to walk on it. I simply stood there and whimpered for...

Who knows how long I would have suffered were it not for people like you? I am a 7 year old boy and life on the streets was not kind to me.
