CLICK TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SPONSORSHIP 14th Dec 2015, by Soi Dog Foundation
I AM TOO SCARED TO BE ADOPTED RIGHT NOW – WILL YOU PLEASE BE MY SPONSOR?
My name is Augusta and in my short life I have seen so much suffering. I arrived at Soi Dog as a two month old puppy. I was sick with diarrhea and unable to eat.
The vets helped me get better, but I still carry the mental scars of my sad start to life. I am a very shy girl, which sadly does not make me adoptable at this stage.
I hope one day I will be brave enough to be adopted, but until then I feel safe and loved h...

We were all so frightened but luckily for us, Soi Dog picked us up and took us to the safety of the shelter.
Sadly, I still remain scared of people to this day, which means I cannot be adopted right now.

Imagine being born homeless, with nobody to care for you. Being all alone in the world is not easy but it is the only life most street cats ever know. I am just one of them, a little girl called Dornick.
I had to learn quickly how to fend for myself. There was no human to take care of me and provide me with food. My survival was down to me alone but sadly, I didn’t have enough experience to keep myself out of danger. I was only a few weeks old when I ran into the busy street and was immediate...

SOMEONE LIKE YOU MADE MY DREAMS COME TRUE
My owner dumped me when I got sick. I will never understand why, but I was found running around a very busy road by a kind man on his way to work. My name is Boyd and this is my story.
The nice man stopped his car when he saw me and started to ask everyone in the area if they knew where I’d come from. Nobody had ever seen me there before and somebody said I had obviously been dumped. I was such a pitiful sight.
My body was being ravaged by a horrend...

When I was a puppy, I was abandoned with my 7 siblings in a parking lot outside a temple. My name is Pupa.
We were not used to being handled by humans and we were all scared, but the people who found us knew that we were too young to survive on our own and brought us to Soi Dog.
Some of my braver siblings have now been adopted, but I am very nervous and I live in the shy dog run here. Because of my fear, it may be some time before I can be adopted and this is where I really need you.
