Froto was only a few weeks old when she was found in heart-breaking condition. Suffering with severe conjunctivitis in both eyes, one of her eyeballs had also ruptured, causing her untold pain. Both eyes had constant discharge and her tiny body was covered in fleas.
This little girl was all alone in the world. There was no mother in sight, no human to care for her, nowhere to call home apart from the temple where she’d been dumped. It was a miracle she was still alive.

As reported recently, our ongoing work against the illegal dog meat trade often brings to light evidence of the illegal smuggling of wildlife.
Recently, our undercover investigators, while on the look-out for dog meat trade activity, were able to pass information to the Royal Thai Police and the regional Mekong River Unit of the Royal Thai Navy.

Tam was found having been cruelly beaten. He arrived at our shelter with wounds on his head and legs after a savage attack by someone clearly intent on killing him.
It is only thanks to people like you that we were able to take Tam in, nurse his wounds, and help him regain his trust in humans once more.
