THEY HAVE NEVER SEEN ME WAG MY TAIL
I was found alone and vomiting. My coat was filthy and I was infested with ticks. I am just 10 weeks old and have already suffered so much. My name is Rien.
Weak and emaciated, I was found just in time. With nobody caring for me, I would not have survived much longer. Struggling with a serious case of mange, I had stopped eating and was anaemic and dehydrated. Things did not look good for me.

Just over a year ago, Smoocher arrived at our shelter battling blood parasites, low blood platelets and severe anaemia. He was infested with ticks and just 15 weeks old.
It is only thanks to people like YOU that we can help dogs like Smoocher when they need it most. The members of our Emergency Response Team are a lifeline for sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals that have nobody else to turn to. It is their donations that saved Smoocher's life.

Stuart Little arrived at our shelter late last year after we were told about a dog that had been dumped by his owner. He was struggling with horrendous skin problems and was depressed and miserable. His life had been turned upside down.
