Cersei was living on the streets of Thailand when she was hit by a car and sustained life-threatening injuries. The damage to her eyes was so severe that it was causing her untold agony.
It was sadly too late to save her eyes and there was no choice but to remove them as soon as she arrived at our shelter, in order to end the unbearable pain she was in.

My name is Popular. There was a time when l Iived on a forested hillside above a Phuket beach, until the day I stepped into an illegal pig-snare in the bush. I will never forget the agony and the terror I felt as I fought to free my leg.
