Cersei was living on the streets of Thailand when she was hit by a car and sustained life-threatening injuries. The damage to her eyes was so severe that it was causing her untold agony.
It was sadly too late to save her eyes and there was no choice but to remove them as soon as she arrived at our shelter, in order to end the unbearable pain she was in.

Like so many others, my life has been lived on the streets. If I was lucky, I would find somewhere safe to sleep and a kind person to feed me. My name is Martinez and I am about 3 years of age now.

My name is Popular. There was a time when l Iived on a forested hillside above a Phuket beach, until the day I stepped into an illegal pig-snare in the bush. I will never forget the agony and the terror I felt as I fought to free my leg.

Laemsing was found on a lonely stretch of beach. Her leg was broken. The people who called our shelter said that they had seen her being hit by a car and then attacked by a pack of dogs.
Thanks to people like you, we were able to take her in and get her the treatment she needed. She spent over 7 months at our shelter, before being adopted by Olivia in Colorado, USA, where she is now enjoying walks and has become the best hiking partner! Thank you Olivia for giving her such a wonderful life.

At just 3 years of age, Finch was blinded. Trying to survive on the streets of Thailand, this poor boy was hit by a car, sustaining such serious injuries to both his eyes that he lost his sight. It is only thanks to people like you that he didn’t lose his life.
