SOME GOOD NEWS COMING OUT OF CHINA
In the latest victory in the fight to end the Asian dog meat trade, China’s large online food delivery service, Ele.me has said that restaurants that serve dog meat will be removed from its platform.
This will be a huge blow to these restaurants, with approximately 300 establishments losing access to a significant customer base.
Ele.me normally handles an average of 5 million food orders a day and has more than 70 million users in over 700 Chinese cities.

We don’t want to think about the pain Nico would have been in as she wandered the streets bearing a horrendously infected wound on the back of her neck. She is about 11 years old and has never had a place to call home or her own human to care for her.

Smudges was just a tiny vulnerable pup when he was found with a horrific wound across his back. The wound was seriously infected and infested with maggots.
Without people like YOU, it is a sad fact that Smudges would never have survived on the streets. The infection would have progressed rapidly, eventually leading to septicaemia and a slow and painful death.
