Martha was a tiny vulnerable and homeless puppy when she arrived at our shelter. She went on to spend over 2½ years with us before she struck gold when she was adopted by Carol in Scotland. Thank you Carol!

Check out this beautiful photo of former soi dog Hetty! She arrived at our shelter four years ago after being hit by a car and sustaining a serious injury to her leg.
Thanks to people like you, whose donations funded her treatment and care, we were able to help her and keep her safe at our shelter, where she lived for three years until she was adopted by former volunteer Jane.

Poor little Kazar was 10 years of age and blind when she was abandoned by her cruel owner. She was dumped in the garden of a lady who already had three dogs of her own and was unable to keep Kazar when her dogs attacked her.
It is only thanks to people like you that we were able to take Kazar in and keep her safe when the lady arrived at our shelter with this poor neglected little girl in her arms.

SOME GOOD NEWS COMING OUT OF CHINA
In the latest victory in the fight to end the Asian dog meat trade, China’s large online food delivery service, Ele.me has said that restaurants that serve dog meat will be removed from its platform.
This will be a huge blow to these restaurants, with approximately 300 establishments losing access to a significant customer base.
Ele.me normally handles an average of 5 million food orders a day and has more than 70 million users in over 700 Chinese cities.

Smudges was just a tiny vulnerable pup when he was found with a horrific wound across his back. The wound was seriously infected and infested with maggots.
Without people like YOU, it is a sad fact that Smudges would never have survived on the streets. The infection would have progressed rapidly, eventually leading to septicaemia and a slow and painful death.
