She Was Just A Tiny Kitten When She First Arrived 27th Apr 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Arriving when she was just a month old, poorly little Ferrow could barely see out of her eyes due to a severe eye infection. 😥 Being so small, Ferrow first needed to bottle fed through the night to help her gain some weight. 🍼
Sadly, the infection in her left eye had caused too much damage and it couldn't be saved, so when she was big and strong enough she had surgery to remove it.
Many months later, and Ferrow is all better now. 🥰 Not only that, but as you can see she has grown into...

Moments From Our Mobile Clinics. This Months Momen.. 26th Apr 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Moments from our mobile clinics 📸
This month’s moments come from Greater Bangkok where Soi Dog has eight teams scouring the busy streets and green suburbs to neuter and vaccinate as many homeless animals as possible as part of our CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) programme.
Together, the teams have reached over 470,000 animals so far. It’s incredible to think that this represents over half of all our sterilisations in Thailand – and even more incredible to think that the progra...

Injured and in pain, Defense was lost and didn't know where to go. While wandering the streets in search of help, he stumbled upon the home of a compassionate local who wanted to help him.
Following a thorough examination, our veterinary team believes that Defense was struck by a car, causing a fracture in his right femur and a wound on his left hip. It's no surprise that he was in so much pain. 😔 We can only hope that he wasn't suffering for too long.
With your help, Defense will now rece...

Ghibli Is Home. Ghibli Was Brought To Us Just A Fe.. 24th Apr 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Ghibli is home❤
Ghibli was brought to us just a few days before Halloween in 2021, and she’d already experienced her fair share of horror. Chronic conjunctivitis and inflammation had caused her to lose her vision in both of her eyes, and while she was roaming the streets blind, someone slashed her on her side with a knife.
While our vets were able to repair her wound with reconstructive surgery, there was nothing they could do to restore her vision. With her eyes only serving to cause her ...

Can you imagine being a part of a family for thirteen years and then being carelessly abandoned in the night? 💔
It wasn’t Ringed’s fault that he’d grown old and lost his fur. And yet, he was still dumped in the dark with no protection, food or water. He must have been completely terrified and heartbroken. 😔
Fortunately, Ringed didn’t have to wait too long before he was found by a kind-hearted person who contacted us for help. After picking him up and bringing him to our shelter, ...

Mamoru Was A Very Sick Little Kitten When She Firs.. 22nd Apr 2023, by Soi Dog Foundation
Mamoru was a very sick little kitten when she first arrived, having contracted symptoms of FPV (feline parvovirus).
FPV can be extremely dangerous for young cats, and in some cases can sadly be fatal. The person who found her told us that many cats in the area had already died. 😥 Being so young and vulnerable, we didn’t know if Mamoru would make it either, but our veterinary team were determined to do everything they could to save her.
Fortunately, the hard work and dedication of our vet...
