Garzoo, now called Atticus, has been home for 6 months now!
Atticus lives in Connecticut in the USA, where is part of the Triple A team (along with his adopter Anne and cat Ashton). Atticus came to the Soi Dog shelter after being abandoned. He was extremely depressed, lethargic, skinny, and refusing to eat. Atticus spent 9 months at the shelter before finding his forever home. HER WHOLE LIFE WAS MISERY
Jolenta was exhausted and miserable. Her body was swollen. Lumps had grown along her mammary glands, in her groin, between her toes, and under her jaw. The lumps were infected and full of live and dead maggots. Our vets suspect she’d been impregnated many times over many years. She’s only about 5 years old.

SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP
Buri was living on the streets when she was hit by a car. The impact knocked Buri’s eye out of its socket. It lacerated her back. Some caring people saw her and tried to help, but Buri was so terrified that she ran away. She spent an agonizing day in hiding, tormented by her injuries. Luckily, an Animal Rescue Officer was able to pick her up the next day and bring her to Soi Dog for urgent treatment.

MY FAMILY WAS KILLED BEFORE MY EYES
When I was only 6 weeks old, my mother and siblings were killed before my eyes. They were crushed to death by speeding motorbikes. It was a horrible thing to see. I cried out in despair.
A woman heard me crying in the street. She rushed to me and called Soi Dog. My name is Katie.

COMPASSION IS GREATER THAN CRUELTY
Nuwan was the victim of an acid attack.
Soi Dog was notified almost a week later when a kind person learned of her terrible condition. She got no medical care during that time. Can you imagine the pain she must have suffered? Nuwan was picked up right away by an Animal Rescue Officer and brought to the shelter for urgent treatment.
