Facebook Live Update!
The dogs rescued from the dog meat trade are arriving at the Soi Dog shelter ahead of schedule, which is great for the dogs! Our Facebook Live broadcast will start about 30 minutes earlier than expected (around 8 AM Thai time). Just go to the Soi Dog Facebook page and the broadcast will start automatically. Chapter 4 – Look at my wheels!
Sairung came to us at only a couple months old. Suffering from nerve trauma, she was unable to use her hind legs. After lots of physical therapy (including water exercises), it was determined that Sairung would most likely never be able to use her legs. This footage shows Sairung's first time using her wheels.

BANNED: DOG MEAT SALES AT YULIN FESTIVAL
Soi Dog Foundation welcomes the news coming out of China regarding a ban on the sale of dog meat at the annual Yulin festival, which begins June 21st.
As with all such reports, we will exercise caution until we see the results.
Officially, the authorities state that the Yulin festival was stopped 3 years ago. But this has not prevented large numbers of dogs from being slaughtered or sold to rescuers during that period – though not on the same scale ...

My name is Genius, and I was found wandering the streets of Thailand with an injured back leg. The vets fought very hard to save the leg, but a life-threatening infection had set in and I had to have it removed.
