We named him Shiver because he was always cold.
He was found dumped by the roadside. Skin and bone, with no hair to keep him warm, he was close to death. And yet, thanks to people like you, he made it.
The compassionate animal lovers who funded all of Shiver’s medical treatment are what we call the Emergency Response Team. This special group of people are the difference between life and death for dogs like Shiver. Will you join them at http://bit.ly/save_dogs_like_shiver?

In 2010, a scruffy soi dog named Martin was adopted to Oregon. At that time, not many soi dogs had been adopted to the US, so Martin's adopter Alexandra got to know other soi dog families all across the country. Recently, Alexandra helped get another soi dog – Cariad – to the US. She also sent a couple photos of Martin, saying that he continues to be a wonderful dog. As you can see, Martin has come a long way since 2010!

When I was only 6 years old, my owner asked the vet to put me to sleep. She was leaving Thailand to return to her home country and didn’t want to take me with her.
The vet refused, and my owner abandoned me on the streets. Thankfully a staff member from the vet clinic found me and brought me to the Soi Dog shelter.
My name is Ying. I've been traumatised by what happened to me. The volunteers are patiently working with me, and I've made progress. But I'm not ready to be adopted. What if someo...
