My name is Levin. I am an old boy who was found living on the streets with half my jaw missing, from some old untreated injury. Nobody will ever know what happened to me and sadly I cannot say. My head also has a slight tremor from some past trauma. Or it may be that I am a distemper survivor.

Soi Dog Foundation is sad to announce the death of Yvonne de Haay Stekelenburg. Yvonne was one of the first foreigners to take an interest in Phuket’s stray dogs. For many years – up to her death – she could be found feeding and taking dogs to Phuket Animal Hospital and, in more recent years, Soi Dog Foundation. Mushroom arrived at Soi Dog with almost no fur left. Despite his chronic skin problems, he was gentle, patient, and loved to cuddle. It was a bittersweet farewell when Mushroom travelled to his forever home in Pennsylvania last month.
