When we saw Nakroth, his condition was heartbreaking. A huge, deep wound festered on his right ear. It was full of maggots. The pain was excruciating, causing Nakroth to snarl at the vets trying to treat him. An IV with pain medication was ordered and Nakroth was sedated so the vets could begin removing the maggots safely and painlessly.

Danbor was only a puppy when he arrived at Soi Dog with terrible skin problems last June. Happily, Danbor travelled to his new home in Germany in April. His adopters say he’s a quick learner, a good listener, and “an absolutely lovable, joyful, and extremely friendly dog. We love Danbor so much and we are very glad that we could give him his own home.” They also provided this great top 10 list. Enjoy!

On Monday, Soi Dog Foundation was honoured to receive a visit from Thailand’s Air Vice-marshal Thawatchai Srikaew, who is the official representative of His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun. 20 bags of dog food were donated on behalf of His Majesty the King and His Majesty’s dog FuFu.

Me and my sister Jirai had the saddest beginning in life. We lost our mummy and were orphaned when we were just a few weeks old. Lucky for us a kind person found and us and brought us to the Soi Dog Foundation here in Phuket, Thailand.
