Yuna, a 5th year veterinary student at Seoul National University in South Korea, used her school holiday to volunteer at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket last month. NEVER SAY NEVER...
We named him Shiver because he was always cold... He was just a few months old when he was found dumped by the roadside. Skin and bone, with no hair to keep him warm, he was close to death.
Shiver's horrific start in life left him severely traumatised and terrified of nearly everyone. Despite numerous people working with him, we feared he would never be ready to leave our shelter for a home of his own.
But as ever, dogs have so much to teach us and Shiver proved us wrong......
