Just take one look at me and you'll see that I've been through just about everything. My tongue hangs out of my mouth because half of my jaw is gone. No one knows what happened. And it's such an old injury that there is no way to fix it.

Ivah is around 12 years old and finally knows what love is. In May, she travelled to her new – and first ever – home in Washington. Ivah spent her life on the streets until she was hit by a car and came to Soi Dog for treatment. She spent a year and a half here waiting for her forever home. This is Geraint. He’s an old dog, probably around 11 years old. He was found in a severe state of neglect. But because Geraint is a street dog his fate was bleak. Geraint could have scavenged for food for a little while longer, but soon, his grave wounds would have led to septicemia. Geraint would have crawled into a corner and died a slow, painful death.

I'm 13 years old and I've never had a home. My name is Briny, and I live at the Soi Dog shelter in an enclosure with other old dogs.
About a year ago, I was found lying in the street, shaking in fear. My eyes were weeping and I was weak and emaciated.
Thanks to people like you, Soi Dog was able to get me the medical treatment I needed for the serious infection in my eyes. Sadly, I had already lost the sight in my left eye but otherwise I have made a good recovery.
