Shelter Volunteers Needed! 16th Apr 2018, by Soi Dog Foundation
Shelter volunteers needed! PLEASE EMAIL all questions to volunteering@soidog.org
Soi Dog Foundation relies completely on volunteers to socialise and walk the 500 dogs in our care, along with socialising the 100 cats also at our shelter.
The role that volunteers play in teaching our animals to trust humans again is invaluable. Without that trust, it would be impossible to make these traumatised animals available for adoption. Many of our dogs have been abused and are wary of humans; it takes t...

In late December 2014, Thailand introduced its first animal welfare law. Prior to this, acts of animal cruelty were not considered a criminal offence. The new law changed this, introducing maximum penalties of up to 2 years’ imprisonment and/or a 40,000 THB fine (approximately US$1,200).
But to this day, sentencing in animal abuse cases continues t...

It does not mean a death sentence - cats like me can live happy lives and have so much love to give. So why does nobody want me? I have been in the shelter now for over 7 months. I do not deserve this.
I long for someone to love me. Please give me a home. Go to https://bit.ly/Adopt_Tago to read more and email nayomi@soidog.org if ...
