Some people say I am goofy, but I like to think of myself as charismatic. My name is Benjen and I am a 2-year old boy and full of energy, but with only 3 legs I have to remember to take it easy sometimes. I came to Soi Dog after suffering from an injured hind leg. Dewot is only about a year old. She was found dumped in a garbage bag, a shockingly painful wound on one of her legs. We have no way of knowing what happened to this pretty little girl. No dog should have to suffer, especially one at only 6 weeks old. Figaro was hit by a speeding car and left on the side of the road in agonising pain. Luckily, a group of people witnessed the accident and called Soi Dog to help. He has a made a full recovery, but the traumatic experience has left him nervous in new environments and timid when out walking. Carry forward good deeds and change a life!
This is Rudd who came to Soi Dog Foundation, when she was found with a big necrotic wound on her tail that was deep and filled with maggots. The only way to save Rudd's life at that point was to amputate her tail.
The wound due it's position on her back, has taken very long to heal the same way it has taken Rudd's trauma of the experience disappear.

Wrinkly and willing to travel! Meet Forge, this wise looking guy is younger than you’d think. He is 4 years old and has been at our shelter for 2 years patiently waiting for someone to adopt him. Do you remember Buno? He was hit by a vehicle and left for dead.
A member of Soi Dog staff was on her way to the shelter when she saw a dog at the side of the road covered in blood. The car had hit the left side of his neck causing a huge, painful open wound. Buno had lost so much blood that he was weak and almost lifeless. You could see the relief in his eyes when he was rescued. All he wanted was someone to stop and help him.
