Many dogs who enter our shelter gates have never felt the kind touch of a human. They don’t know if they can trust us through years of being all alone. Juturna's story is quite different. He does trust us. But why?
Juturna and his owner were inseparable. Until one day, for reasons we will never understand, his owner moved house and left him on the street, all alone. Neighbours did their best to feed him each day, but Juturna would pace around the streets looking for his best friend. He could n...

Titan managed to beat the odds and has proven to be resilient. She was found on the side of a busy road, terrified and alone. Unfortunately, she had a horrible skin condition and suffered from some trauma, causing her to be paralysed.
Luckily, Titan was brought to Soi Dog for treatment. The vets knew she had the potential to overcome her paralysis so they started her in physiotherapy. We are now happy to announce that she has learnt to walk again with the help of a sling harness! Titan can ev...

Hello, it’s me, Sugarpure. Do you remember me? If you missed my story the first time, I can share it with you now. I’m about 11 years old and was found all alone, miles from civilisation. I had a terrible eye injury and was in unbearable pain. Will you please donate at https://bit.ly/Saving_Sugarpure to help homeless dogs like me?
I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after the people here received a call from the man who’d found me. I’d been dumped in a lonely rubber plantation and left fo...

Yes, I Will Sponsor Dreambun! 25th Apr 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
Her name is Dreambun. She's been living at the Soi Dog shelter since she was found dumped on the street with her mother and siblings. She was just days old. Will you sponsor her? https://bit.ly/Yes_I_Will_Sponsor_Dreambun
Dreambun is all grown up now, but the trauma of those early days on the streets remains. She finds it difficult to trust humans and if you get too close or make her feel threatened, she may bite you. All this means that our little girl is not yet ready to be adopted.
While ...

Just when you think you’ve seen it all… WARNING- distressing images!
Sometimes we’re lost for words. Julian and Rojor were only weeks old when they arrived at our shelter. They have been subjected to incomprehensible cruelty that truly defies belief. One evening, a kind lady was walking home and heard the unmistakable sound of puppies crying. It did not take long for her to search and find four defenseless and severely injured pups. To her disbelief, someone had inflicted deliberate cuts...

#furrytailending for beautiful Leila.
Leila who was known as Clops here at Soi Dog Foundation, has been in her new home in Canada for almost 2 years now.
She came to Soi Dog Foundation as a tiny baby with a severely infected eye. Her eye needed to be removed but afterwards this beautiful tabby girl became even more mesmerizing with her looks as well as her personality. During her time waiting to find a home, she caught the eye of a volunteer vet who decided to make her part of his family:
"Le...

We recently received an early morning call from a monk at a local temple. He’d just found two little pups dumped there – no doubt by an owner who hadn’t bothered to have the mother sterilised and now expected others to pick up the pieces. This is a regular occurrence.
Please join the fight against such cruelty and ignorance by donating at https://bit.ly/Saving_Unwanted_Puppies A small monthly gift from you will not only fund the rescue, medical care and shelter of unwanted pups such as B...

A few months ago we called on our supporters to help find our lovely girl Citra a home. Thanks to YOU, she has found a wonderful home and is living out her #furrytailending in Calgary, Canada. Citra was brought to our shelter after being struck and injured by a vehicle. She was in immense pain until the vets treated her. Although her leg had to be amputated, Citra did not lose her list for life.
Citra is not your average looking street. Her silver coat, golden eyes and sleek ridge back makes h...

Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Satupy to join the Care for Cats Club for cats like Satupy. With no government funding for the street cats of Thailand, you truly are their only hope.

Imagine the fear of being stuck somewhere dark where no one can see or hear you. Imagine the fear of not knowing if you will survive. My name is Simba and I was found stuck deep down a well for three long and lonely days. I was terrified, hungry and hopeless. I cried and cried for help but no one could hear me; and in my desperate attempts to climb out of this cold dark prison, I ripped off all my nails.
After three long days and nights passed, a kind member from my community realised I was mis...

Please help homeless cats like Sithao get the dedicated hospital they need! Donate now at https://bit.ly/Saving_Sithao
