Luna is one of the many innocent victims of the exaggerated rabies scare in Northern Thailand. Thanks to donations from people like you, Soi Dog was able to rescue many dogs, including sweet Luna, from impounded hell and give them a second chance. Luna is now living her best life with her kind adopter, Tiffany.
“From the moment Randy from Firefighter Dog Rescue brought Luna to me, it’s been amazing. She spent the first night sleeping on me, head nestled on my chest. From street dog, to Soi...

My name is Mattana. Will you please sponsor my care? https://www.soidog.org/sponsor/mattana-246
I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after being hit by a car. I had been dumped at a nearby temple and was desperately trying to survive. The accident left me with a serious injury to my leg.
Thanks to people like you, the vets at Soi Dog were able to help me and after surgery and physiotherapy, I made a good recovery. I am safe here at the shelter, but I can be a little bit wary of humans I don’t k...

I don’t know how it happened, but I am one of the thousands of dogs victimised by and rescued from the Dog Meat Trade. My name is Haylen and I am hoping that I will finally find a loving home now that I have been given a second chance at life.
https://www.soidog.org/adopt/haylen-1785
A s you can imagine, when I was first rescued from the trade I was scared and confused. I could not understand what was happening and why people would treat me so badly. Thanks to the people at Soi Dog, I have g...

Is Any Race Worth THIS? 16th Jan 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Act now. Dogs in Vietnam are being brutally tortured because it “improves their meat”. Some are boiled alive. Others are blasted with blow torches. You can help stop the horror.
Formula 1 will hold its first Grand Prix in Vietnam in 2020. They’re in a unique position of influence. Insist they help.
Save innocent dogs from unspeakable cruelty. Call for an end to Vietnam’s horrific dog meat trade. Be heard now!

Nanadao came to Soi Dog Foundation, with scalded paws.
We didn't know what truly happened to her but, we knew she was in so much agony.
She was one of the lucky kitties that found refuge here at Soi Dog Foundation, thanks to your kind generosity and love for cats and dogs.
It didn't take long for this sassy lady to get better and charm her way into a family right here in Phuket, who was happy to offer her the #furrytailending she deserved.
Without #foreverhomes we cannot continue to help more...

Precious little Zoran was found abandoned with his two siblings. The three pups, only a week old, were found under a pile of wood on a construction site. The kind woman who discovered them looked for their mother, but couldn’t find her, so she took the puppies to a clinic.
Zoran’s condition was quite serious, so he ended up with us. Can you please help this unfortunate little pup and animals like him by joining the Emergency Response Team now? https://emergency.soidog.org/ert

Hi there! It’s me, Talcum! I’ve got travel donations and am ready to explore the world.
https://www.soidog.org/adopt/talcum-173
I came to Soi Dog Foundation over three years ago because I received some nasty threats against my life. Some people in the area where I was living didn’t like me. I was only trying to survive the best way I knew how: scrounging for scraps and searching for shelter under the rain and hot sun. Luckily, a kind Thai lady took me to Soi Dog Foundation, away from im...

Meet Sponsor Cat - Yes, CAT - Xoron! 15th Jan 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Meet Xoron (pronounced ''Zoron'). It's kind of a roboty-sounding name, but our sweet girl is all alive, fun feline! We call her our chatterbox, for good reason...she will talk your ear off!
Xoron can be found in her special place with the other FLV+ kitties. In fact, she'll be the first one to greet you. And if you pay so much as one second of attention to one of those OTHER cats, Xo will be right there, patting you in the face as if to say, ''Hey! We were NOT done yet!''
Xoron is one of our n...

Thank You For The Memories, Sweet Nishad! 14th Jan 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Our darling Nishad passed away recently from cancer. We're very sad, and we know that many of you loved her, too. You'd never know it from this video taken not that long ago, but this playful pup was almost 16 years old!
Nishad had a hard, homeless life before coming to Soi Dog almost four years ago. We'd like to think that because of you, we were able to make some of that up to her. Rest in peace, precious girl! We miss you so much.

🌟Cat of the Week🌟
Dressed to the nines and feline fine!
Are you feeling particularly meowtiful today? My name’s Yinglek - I am ‘suited’ up and ready to make you feel all the glitz and glam that comes with my kitty galore.
https://www.soidog.org/adopt/yinglek-2009
Yinglek is the name the kind Thai staff gave me when I arrived at Soi Dog in March 2019. It means “small girl”, and I certainly was on the smaller side back then. After being hit by a car, my hind legs were collap...

Sponsor A Shelter Dog 14th Jan 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Why would someone say they were going to shoot me? My name is Ferrero and sadly, my past experience has left me scared of humans. Will you go to https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Ferrero to be my friend?
When I was just a young pup, I found myself in a terrifying situation. Some people near my territory didn’t want a street pup like me hanging around. They were going to shoot me.
Thankfully, a kind person whisked me away and took me to the safety of the Soi Dog shelter. Sadly, I remain very scared of p...

A kooky girl with an equally kooky outlook on life – that’s me, Nilada. I like to look at the world from upside down (quite literally, because I’m often lying on my back, seeking belly rubs from the nearest available human!)
https://www.soidog.org/adopt/nilada-2010
Soi Dog took me in after finding me in an unsafe area playing a dangerous game of “chase the motorbike”. To an outsider, I might have seemed like a scary street dog looking for trouble, but in reality I was vulnerable, a...

Remember Benten? This gorgeous boy was homeless and had gotten himself hurt. A kind man noticed him limping and took him to a clinic. But the poor cat needed surgery he couldn’t afford, so he brought him to us.
We want to help as many animals like Benten as possible. But at 1,100 animals, we’re close to our shelter capacity. Rescuing and caring for so many is expensive, as you might imagine. Will you please help by pledging a small monthly gift? Click here: https://emergency.soidog.org/c...

Sky’s injury was absolutely shocking. Just try to imagine the unbearable pain she endured while laying helpless in the road. It’s totally heartbreaking to think of how scared she must have felt. She was a homeless street dog, who just wanted love and affection but was instead, hit by a car and left for dead. The impact broke her pelvis, and ruptured her abdominal wall, leaving a huge open wound. This wound was left for so long it had become infected, and she was unable to stand up. Many peop...

Boogie has a happy-sounding name, but she was desperate when she arrived at Soi Dog with a mangled leg. Sadly, it had to be amputated to relieve her awful pain.
Dogs are resilient creatures, though, and this spunky three-year-old is ready to boogie on with her three remaining legs! It’s hard to believe this pretty girl was a homeless cruelty victim just a few months ago. Despite all she’s been through, Boogie’s sweet spirit remains intact. She was once shy, but now happily accepts the lo...
